After-School Program Group Leader The Group Leader is responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising all activities for an assigned group in the after-school program. This position ensures safety standards are upheld at all times, follows and enforces Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) and ACT policies, and provides exceptional customer service to participants and their families. General Duties Supervise and ensure the well-being of all after-school program participants. Plan, implement, and lead a variety of recreational activities, including team-building games, arts, and enrichment programs. Provide quality customer service through positive interaction with participants, staff, guardians, and the public. Maintain the highest level of safety and risk management at all times. Respond appropriately to all emergencies and report incidents to the appropriate supervisor. Attend on-site training sessions led by the Executive Director and School-Age Child Care (SAC) team. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a group setting (not including babysitting). Must be at least 18 years old and a high school graduate.
