The primary focus will be supporting the staff to maintain operations for patient care. The Regional Director of Nursing will be responsible for implementing and evaluating operations into patient care through RN Regional Managers and Staffing Coordinators in addition to ensuring compliance with all company policies, procedures, and processes. Scheduled Details • Remote - Active states AmeriPharma is licensed to hire in and preferred states for this role: Texas, Wyoming, Arizona, Colorado, and Idaho., • Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm CST Duties and Responsibilities • Provide clinical support to patients., • Conduct/manage post infusion patient surveys routinely and with all new nurse placement., • Review and approve nursing notes and visit time approvals., • Provide clinical support to nurses, including supply optimization, pump troubleshooting, and policy adherence., • Participate in the screening process for clinical managers/contractual nursing/staffing coordinators., • Nurse complaint resolution., • Actively auditing to ensure contracted nurses are maintaining standards of care per policies and procedures., • Perform initial and annual clinical competency assessments for all regional nurses., • Train, monitor, and enforce staff adherence to the use of the nursing documentation platform., • Maintain nursing staff training and education programs., • Conduct monthly regional team meetings., • Advise, contribute, and educate team members on the company corrective action process., • Build trusting, collaborative relationships with staff, peers, other disciplines and ancillary services., • Establish goals for the nursing team, monitor their performance, and provide reports., • Direct patient care as needed and travel to patients as needed for supervision., • Report any infusion issues, side effects, and missed doses to the pharmacist., • Available for after-hours emergency calls., • Facilitates patient/nursing supply needs., • Situations to report to National Director of Nursing:, • Unresolved patient complaints., • Infusion supply issues., • Unsatisfactory employee performance and attendance., • Additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications • Excellent verbal and written communication skills., • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills., • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail., • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines., • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills., • Effective management and leadership abilities., • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate., • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Education and Experience Requirements • A bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) is a mandatory requirementfor this position, • A minimum of 2 years of experience in home and/or specialty infusion is required, • An active and unrestricted nursinglicense(s), • NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact) is required Preferred Qualifications • California nursing license is preferred, • Experience with CPR+ preferred, • Experience with AlayaCare is preferred AmeriPharmas Mission Statement Our goal is to achieve superior clinical and economic outcomes while maintaining the utmost compassion and care for our patients.
