Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Freight Broker Sales Manager with an existing book of business to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in freight brokerage, exceptional sales skills, and a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and carriers. Youll play a key role in growing our customer base and ensuring seamless transportation solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Manage and grow your existing customer base while prospecting new business opportunities., • Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking., • Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, carriers, and other key stakeholders., • Negotiate rates with clients and carriers to maximize profitability while delivering value to all parties., • Manage the end-to-end freight process, including quoting, booking, tracking, and troubleshooting shipments., • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods., • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity., • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs consistently., • Play a key leadership role in building and mentoring a future sales team as the business scales.Qualifications:, • Minimum 2 years in freight brokerage, logistics sales, or 3PL operations., • Active shipper relationships and repeat customer base required., • Strong understanding of transportation, logistics, and supply chain processes., • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills., • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment., • Proficiency in freight brokerage software (e.g., TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite., • A results-oriented mindset with a drive to exceed targets., • [Include any licensing requirements, if applicable, e.g., a valid freight broker license.]Why Join Us?, • Competitive base salary plus commission.
