About the Role StepStone Hospitality is seeking a motivated, hands-on, and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to lead Housekeeping operations at the Crowne Plaza North Augusta. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role ideal for a hospitality leader who is passionate about cleanliness standards, guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and team development. The Executive Housekeeper will oversee all housekeeping functions, including room inspections, public areas, laundry operations, inventory controls, scheduling, and associate training and development. This leader will work closely with the General Manager, Director of Rooms, and other department leaders to ensure consistent execution of brand standards, maintain exceptional cleanliness throughout the property, and deliver an outstanding guest experience. The ideal candidate is a strong operational leader who leads by example, thrives in a team-oriented environment, and is committed to accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, labor management experience, and the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced hospitality environment. What You’ll Do • Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff, including counseling, termination, performance evaluations, training, and development., • Assist in the development of the annual budget. Monitor performance against plan., • Establish and maintain cost control systems for staffing, linen inventories, and cleaning supplies., • Ensure quality services are rendered in meeting guest needs., • Schedule staff according to labor standards and forecasted occupancy., • Maintain room quality based on StepStone and hotel guidelines., • Monitor and maintain required level of cleanliness in rooms, storage areas, laundry, restrooms, and common areas., • Enforce procedures for the acceptance, security, and return of guest lost and found items., • Enforce procedures for security of on-loan equipment., • Maintain productivity and labor cost goals., • Conduct inventories of linen, supplies, and equipment as required., • Order and receive supplies to maintain adequate inventory levels., • Immediately alert hotel management of emergency situations via all communication avenues., • Ability to accurately use various office and accounting software. What We’re Looking For • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, • Minimum of 3–5+ years of progressive leadership experience in hotel housekeeping operations, preferably within a full-service hotel environment, • Strong understanding of housekeeping operations, cleanliness standards, laundry operations, inventory management, and guest room presentation, • Proven ability to drive guest satisfaction scores, cleanliness scores, inspection results, and overall service quality, • Experience managing labor costs, scheduling, supply expenses, and departmental budgets while maintaining operational efficiency, • Comfortable utilizing data and operational metrics (e.g., cleanliness audits, guest satisfaction surveys, labor reports, KPIs) to drive performance improvements and accountability, • Highly visible, hands-on leadership style with a strong presence in daily housekeeping operations, • Experience recruiting, training, coaching, and developing housekeeping associates, supervisors, and inspectors, • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining brand standards, safety standards, and operational consistency throughout the property, • Ability to effectively resolve guest concerns in real time and lead service recovery efforts with professionalism and urgency, • Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments including Front Office, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and Sales, • Experience working directly with executive leadership and ownership groups, providing updates on departmental performance and operational initiatives, • Experience with inventory tracking platforms, and reporting tools preferred, • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead teams effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment, • Experience supporting property improvement plans, renovations, deep cleaning initiatives, or hotel transitions is a plus, • Prior experience with Hilton-branded properties is preferred Why StepStone?
