Job Title: Recruiter – Event Staffing & Security Operations Department: Recruiting / Operations Reports To: Recruiting Manager / Operations Manager Employment Type: Part Time Pay Range: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour Location: Houston, Texas Position Summary A & A Services is seeking a motivated, organized, and professional Recruiter to support our growing event staffing and security operations in Houston, Texas. This position will focus on recruiting, onboarding, and supporting guest services staff and Level 2 unarmed security officers assigned to stadiums, concerts, sporting events, festivals, and large scale entertainment venues. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable handling high volume communication, experienced with recruiting and applicant pipelines, and able to work efficiently in a fast paced environment. This role requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple recruiting and compliance tasks simultaneously. Key Responsibilities • Conduct high volume inbound and outbound recruiting calls with applicants and employees, • Recruit, screen, and schedule candidates for event guest services and security positions, • Manage applicant pipelines and maintain organized recruiting databases, • Coordinate interviews, onboarding appointments, and hiring communication, • Assist with employee onboarding, credentialing, compliance documents, and personnel records, • Verify required documentation, licenses, certifications, and identification records, • Create and maintain employee files, spreadsheets, attendance trackers, and recruiting reports, • Perform accurate data entry and maintain recruiting systems and staffing databases, • Communicate event schedules, reporting instructions, and operational updates to staff members, • Follow up with candidates regarding application status, availability, and onboarding requirements, • Assist with staffing confirmations and event roster preparation, • Support recruiting efforts through job postings, applicant outreach, job boards, and hiring events, • Maintain professional communication with applicants, employees, management, and clients, • Assist with additional administrative and recruiting support duties as needed Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required, • Previous recruiting, staffing, customer service, office administration, or human resources experience preferred, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, • Comfortable handling high volume phone communication and applicant outreach, • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, • Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast paced environment, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Google Workspace, and basic database systems, • Professional attitude with dependable attendance and punctuality, • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information, • Ability to work flexible schedules based on staffing and event needs Preferred Skills • Experience in staffing, recruiting, security, hospitality, or event operations industries preferred, • Experience with applicant tracking systems, onboarding platforms, or scheduling software preferred, • Bilingual skills are a plus, • Experience supporting large scale event staffing operations preferred, • Knowledge of compliance documentation and credential management preferred EEO STATEMENT A & Associates, Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
