Job Description We are seeking a full time Administrative Assistant to work in our midtown office to provide administrative support for security guard operations and provide administrative support to owner. Responsibilities/Skills include: β’ Prior Experience in the security industry a plus, β’ NYS Security license required a plus., β’ Familarity with FDNY Fire Guard licenses., β’ Scheduling/Dispatch Responsibilities, β’ Employment Screening, β’ Setting Employment Interviews, β’ Maintaing Spreadsheets - Excell, β’ Microsoft Office/Outlook, β’ Strong Phone Skills/Communication, β’ Internet Research, β’ Ordering supplies with vendors, β’ Scanning and filing, β’ Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email, β’ Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing, β’ Back up the HR Admin/Recruiter during absences and breaks, β’ Any other duties as required Required Qualifications and Experience: β’ Be a minimum of 18 years of age, β’ Preferred Associates Degree/Minimum - HS Diploma combined with relevant experience, β’ At least 2 years of securitydispatch/scheduling experience, β’ Must be authorized to work in the United States, β’ Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.; the capability to use and/or learn to use a computer and peripheral equipment required, β’ Math skills to include fractions and percentages., β’ Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. phones, fax machines and printers), β’ Excellent oral and written communication skills, β’ Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise, β’ Ability to deal with internal and external customers and perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a timely, courteous and professional manner, β’ Ability to get along with other employees, follow directions, works under stress and continuously improve., β’ Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, supervisors and the general public., β’ Must have excellent organizational, multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, β’ Ability to conform to complex procedures, β’ Must have the ability to maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality, β’ Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without a reasonable accommodation This is a faced pased enviornment where the successfull candidate will gain tremendous experience in the security field with an opportunity to grow.
