Job DescriptionJob Title: Assembler – Electrical Control Panels Job Description This hands-on role focuses on assembling electrical control panels, wiring harnesses, and related components used in industrial automation systems. You will build and route wiring, install mechanical components, and follow detailed diagrams and instructions to produce clean, accurate, and safe control panel assemblies. The position is ideal for dependable individuals with strong attention to detail, solid manual dexterity, and a willingness to learn and grow in a rapidly expanding operation. Responsibilities • Assemble electrical control panels, wiring harnesses, and related components for industrial automation systems., • Build and route wiring harnesses, including cutting, stripping, crimping, labeling, and terminating cables., • Connect drivers and electrical components according to specifications, with no programming required., • Perform wiring inside control panels, junction boxes, and Dixel panels while maintaining neat and organized layouts., • Follow wiring diagrams, schematics, and written work instructions to complete assemblies accurately., • Install and secure mechanical components, including coil pumps, heat trace elements, and enclosures., • Use hand and power tools safely and correctly for both electrical and mechanical assembly tasks., • Assist in the layout, mounting, and assembly of panel frames, hardware, and electrical devices., • Perform self-checks and visual inspections to verify accurate wiring, labeling, and overall panel quality., • Maintain safe work practices and comply with all facility safety policies and procedures., • Keep the work area clean, organized, and in line with standard operating procedures., • Communicate effectively with team members and leads to clarify requirements and resolve issues., • Support production goals by maintaining consistent attendance and meeting quality and productivity expectations.Essential Skills, • Hands-on wiring experience, including harness building, terminations, crimping, and routing., • Experience working in a control panel shop or similar panel build environment., • Experience with industrial controls or automation components., • Ability to read and follow basic wiring diagrams, schematics, and work instructions, or strong willingness to learn., • Basic mechanical or electrical assembly experience., • Strong manual dexterity and comfort using hand and power tools., • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary., • Consistently reliable attendance and clear communication., • Ability to follow safety policies and standard operating procedures in a manufacturing environment.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Familiarity with heat trace systems, Dixel systems, or other panel build environments., • Experience installing and securing mechanical components such as coil pumps, heat trace elements, and enclosures., • Comfort performing self-checks and quality inspections on completed wiring and assemblies., • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to wiring and panel layout., • Willingness to learn new tools, techniques, and technologies related to industrial control panels., • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a production team.Why Work Here? The role requires standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
