Position: Sheet Metal Worker Key Responsibilities: • Interpret complex ventilation assembly drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols., • Accurately read and apply fractional and decimal dimensions., • Lay out and fabricate sheet metal components with precision., • Assemble parts to specification, ensuring high-quality workmanship., • Operate hand tools (drills, grinders, rivet guns) and shop equipment (press brake, shears, drill press)., • Work in compliance with OSHA standards and safety protocols. Preferred Skills: • Marine or shipboard experience highly valued., • Familiarity with rigging and material handling., • Experience operating mobile equipment (e.g., JLG, scissor lifts). Safety & Compliance Requirements: All candidates must have completed the following OSHA-compliant training and medical clearances: • Confined Space Entry (29 CFR 1915 Subpart B), • Hazard Communication (29 CFR 1915.1200), • Respirator Training & Fit Testing (MSA Comfo Classic), • Fall Protection & Body Harness Training (ANSI Z359.1 compliant), • PPE Training (eye, face, head, foot, hand, hearing, and fall protection), • Audiometric Testing & Hexavalent Chromium Medical Clearance PPE Provided: All personal protective equipment must meet OSHA and ANSI standards.
