Job Description Summary: The Business Development Representative is responsible for generating qualified leads, initiating outreach to targeted civil litigation law firms, and supporting the development of a strong marketing-driven sales pipeline. Reporting to the Director, Marketing, this role conducts structured outbound engagement, qualifies prospective firms through established criteria, and ensures accurate documentation and progression of opportunities within the Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) system. The Business Development Representative collaborates closely with Marketing to execute campaigns, nurture early-stage interest, and contribute insights that strengthen messaging and targeting strategies. Through professional communication, disciplined follow-up, and consistent adherence to workflow standards, this position plays a critical role in expanding market reach, supporting firm growth initiatives, and enabling smooth handoff to senior sales and relationship teams. Duties and Responsibilities: All are considered essential functions of this role. General Responsibilities: • Lead Generation & Market Prospecting:, • Research and identify civil litigation law firms that match ideal customer profile., • Build targeted outreach lists for campaigns, marketing programs, and outbound sequences., • Identify decision-makers (partners, firm administrators, litigation managers) through online research and data tools., • Monitor industry movements, new filings, and events to identify new opportunities., • Outreach & Initial Engagement:, • Conduct outbound communication via phone, email, LinkedIn, and marketing automation workflows., • Introduce services using approved messaging that clearly communicates value., • Nurture early-stage leads with timely follow-ups and relevant marketing content., • Warm up leads before handing them to the relationship team for deeper engagement., • Lead Qualification & Pipeline Support:, • Conduct initial qualification calls to understand needs, firm size, volume, and decision process., • Log qualification notes in CRM and assign leads to the appropriate next step (marketing nurture vs. sales contact)., • Schedule introductory meetings for senior staff, ensuring smooth handoff., • Track lead progression through the funnel and flag stalled or high-value opportunities., • CRM Management & Data Accuracy:, • Enter all lead interactions, status changes, and next steps into the CRM in real time., • Maintain detailed, organized records for reporting, analytics, and marketing optimization., • Identify data gaps or inconsistencies and correct or escalate as needed., • Prepare activity summaries, pipeline reports, and lead analytics for the Director, Marketing., • Marketing Campaign Execution & Support:, • Support the launch and execution of email, digital, and event-based campaigns., • Follow up on all inbound leads generated from marketing initiatives., • Provide feedback to Marketing on messaging effectiveness and lead quality., • Coordinate pre- and post-event outreach when Marketing hosts or attends sponsored events., • Brand Awareness & Industry Engagement:, • Share approved marketing content across digital channels to promote brand visibility., • Monitor industry conversations, online forums, and social platforms to identify interest drivers., • Assist with gathering testimonials, success stories, and content needs identified during outreach., • Competitor analysis & sales effectiveness., • Cross-function collaboration., • Execution discipline & responsiveness., • Industry and product knowledge., • Manage risk while focusing on growth., • Outstanding customer service and teamwork skills., • Quality of work., • Communications and Media: Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. Work Environment The physical environment requires employees to work inside an office setting. Physical Demands: Ability to lift 25-pound objects and perform physical tasks as required. Expected Hours of Work: Normal office hours unless otherwise agreed in writing. Hybrid schedule available for Las Vegas, Nevada area employees: minimum of three days in the office, remaining days remote. Travel: Frequent travel for training, conferences, and industry events, both local and out of state. Education and Other Requirements: • Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field., • Equivalent professional experience in lead generation, marketing, client outreach, or sales support may substitute for formal education., • At least three (3) years of experience in business development, lead generation, sales support, marketing operations, or a related client-facing role., • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and other relevant software., • Willingness to collaborate closely with the Director, Marketing and cross-functional teams to support campaign execution and lead management processes., • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
