We are looking for a HR Manager based in Orangeburg, NY. The role: You will lead people-first HR initiatives that build a high-performing, inclusive, and sustainable workplace – ensuring employees are supported and empowered to advance Clarins’ innovation, customer closeness, and responsible-growth priorities. What you’ll do: In an environment where Clarins is evolving rapidly, you will partner with leaders to resolve complex people issues, streamline HR processes, and embed sustainable people practices that convert Clarins’ strategic priorities into measurable workforce outcomes. • Employee relations, investigations & fair resolution: Investigate and resolve workplace concerns and formal complaints using consistent, documented processes; recommend corrective actions or policy updates and serve as escalation point for sensitive cases., • Performance Management & coaching: Coach managers and employees through performance conversations and progressive discipline; partner with leaders to design and monitor performance improvement plans, set measurable goals, and run regular check-ins to boost accountability and engagement., • HR operations, compliance & process improvement: Oversee HR core processes – job descriptions, onboarding/offboarding, HRIS data integrity, and employment-law compliance – while standardizing procedures, documenting workflows, and identifying automation opportunities to increase efficiency and accuracy., • Learning, development & executive coaching: Coordinate internal and external training programs and manage executive coaching partnerships (selection, contracting, administration); handle logistics, communications, post-training evaluation, and translate coaching insights into actionable leadership development plans., • HR sustainability & reporting integration: Develop and operationalize HR policies (flexible work, reduced travel, inclusive hiring), integrate sustainable practices into workforce planning and vendor selection, lead the annual US Carbon Footprint reporting campaign, and run awareness/training and recognition initiatives to embed sustainability across the organization. You are: • Customer oriented, result driven, passionate about our brand and challenges, entrepreneurial mindset, • Eager to grow in a company genuinely committed to responsible beauty, • Skilled in mentoring managers and employees, facilitating performance conversations, and designing development pathways that improve capability and retention, • Clear, concise verbal and written communication; effective facilitation of meetings, difficult conversations, training sessions, and town halls to align stakeholders and drive action, • Analytical yet pragmatic approach to resolving complex HR issues (performance, policy, compliance); makes timely, fair decisions and develops practical solutions with measurable outcomes, • Empathetic, self-aware, and able to read and respond appropriately to employees’ emotions; crucial to handling sensitive employee relations, conflict resolution, and coaching conversations, • Able to build credibility and persuade leaders and peers across functions, secure buy-in for HR initiatives, and navigate organizational politics while maintaining trust You have: • 5+ years of HR experience, • Bachelor’s Degree, • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, • Experience with HRIS/People Data platforms, Learning Management Systems, HR Analytics and Reporting Tools, • Familiarity with AI-enabled HR tools We have: • More than 70 years of expertise in beauty and spa, with the Clarins and myBlend brands, • Unique products and innovative services, • A commitment to Social & Environmental Responsibility embedded in our raison d'être, • A caring and inclusive corporate culture, • Development and training opportunities, • Attractive compensation and benefits Salary: $85,000-$95,000 Benefits: • Hybrid office model, • Healthcare including Medical, Dental and Vision, • 401k + match, • Gratis, • Tuition Reimbursement If you have a curious mind, a thirst to go further and the drive to boldly take on new challenges, join us.
