Job Description We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager - Concrete to join our collaborative team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Project Planning & Initiation, • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, and schedules, tailored to client requirements, • Analyze project specifications, drawings, and contracts to determine resource requirements, • Budget & Financial Management, • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle, • Review and approve vendor and subcontractor invoices, • Scheduling & Coordination, • Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of milestones, • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment, • Site Management & Supervision, • Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards, • Monitor progress and resolve issues that may arise, minimizing delays, • Team Leadership, • Lead project teams, including site supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence, • Provide clear direction and communication to ensure project objectives are met, • Compliance & Safety, • Ensure compliance with building codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety policies, • Conduct regular safety meetings and site inspections to maintain a safe work environment, • Quality Assurance, • Monitor the quality of concrete work, including formwork, placement, finishing, and curing processes, • Conduct final inspections to ensure project completion meets client and company standards, • Reporting & Documentation, • Prepare and present regular progress reports to clients and senior management, • Maintain detailed project documentation, including change orders and RFI logs, • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred, • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction with a focus on concrete projects, • Proficiency in project management tools, scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Procore), and cost estimating tools, • Strong understanding of concrete construction techniques, materials, and best practices, • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, • Outstanding communication and leadership abilities, • Strong teamwork orientation, initiative, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, • Proven positive and professional attitude and customer service skills, • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification, • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification, • Primarily on construction sites with exposure to outdoor elements, • Occasional office-based work for planning, meetings, and reporting, • 401(k), • 401(k) matching, • Dental insurance, • Employee assistance program, • Flexible schedule, • Health insurance, • Health savings account, • Life insurance, • Paid time off, • Parental leave, • Professional development assistance, • Referral program, • Relocation assistance, • Retirement plan Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1B status, O-1, TN, CPT, OPT, etc.).
