Role Overview The Clinician (Clinical Therapist) provides In-Home Therapy to youth and families within their assigned catchment area, operating in compliance with In-Home Therapy Performance Specifications. Working under the license of a clinical supervisor (LICSW or LMHC), the Clinician delivers direct therapeutic services, collaborates with Therapeutic Mentors and natural supports, and works closely with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) to provide family stabilization and reunification services. This is an independent contractor (1099) position. Compensation is fee-for-service. Supervision & Support At Osiris, we are committed to your professional growth and clinical success. As a Clinician, you will receive: • Weekly individual supervision with a licensed Clinical Supervisor (LICSW or LMHC), conducted virtually, • Oversight and licensure coverage under your Clinical Supervisor's license no independent licensure required, • Ongoing training opportunities, including CANS certification support (online training available if not yet certified), • A collaborative team environment with access to Therapeutic Mentors and collateral providers, • Flex Pay Benefit: a $100 monthly balance allotted to each clinical provider to purchase items for the families you serve; reimbursement processed upon submission of receipts through our in-house system Duties & Responsibilities Direct Clinical Services • Use established psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions to improve the youth's social, emotional, and behavioral functioning, prevent inpatient admission, and strengthen caregivers' parenting skills, • Conduct thorough and timely assessments; obtain required approvals before filing and provide all needed updates, • Develop treatment plans collaboratively with families and collaterals that prioritize needs and set measurable goals; revise as intervention proceeds, • Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk assessment and safety plan with the youth and family, • Ensure specialist consultations, evaluations, and referrals are requested as needed, • If the youth is enrolled in Intensive Care Coordination, they participate in all care planning meetings and processes, • Respond to client emergencies as needed and follow on-call policies and procedures Collaboration & Teamwork • Collaborate with the Therapeutic Mentor in implementing the treatment plan to support youth and family in achieving goals, • Plan and conduct family and individual meetings with flexibility in times and locations to best serve clients, • Build and maintain ongoing teamwork with family members, formal providers, natural supports, and others to sustain progress, • Organize, attend, and travel to meetings and appointments across various community locations, • Keep the Osiris Clinical Supervisor informed of progress on all cases, • Keep DCF collaboratives (social workers, supervisors, and leads) informed of progress per DCF guidelines Documentation & Compliance • Maintain paper and electronic records in an orderly and timely manner, • Remain compliant with billing, documentation, and minimum service delivery requirements to substantiate each billable unit, • Write progress notes in the DAP (Data, Assessment, Plan) format, • Adhere to provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 119, Section 51A (Mandated Reporter); report all reportable occurrences immediately, • Maintain client confidentiality at all times; adhere to HIPAA standards and regulations, • Adhere to clinical recommendations from clinical administration, • Complete all required training, including CANS certification, • Maintain contact with the site by checking voicemail and texts regularly Qualifications Required • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Counseling Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), • CANS certification (online training available for candidates not yet certified Osiris will support you in obtaining this prior to caseload assignment), • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, • Knowledge of DAP progress note format, • Valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and access to a reliable personal vehicle for travel to client homes, • Liability insurance (required of all independent contractors) Preferred/Nice-to-Haves • Experience with Welligent EHR, • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, Gmail, Meet), • Bilingual or multilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply, • Familiarity with DCF processes and community-based mental health service delivery Skills & Competencies • Strong cultural competence and commitment to Afro-centric, community-based care, • Knowledge of child development across physical, mental, and emotional domains, • Clinical and psychiatric knowledge, with the ability to apply evidence-based interventions, • Excellent communication skills in community-based settings; ability to build trust with clients and families, • Highly self-motivated and able to manage an independent caseload with minimal oversight, • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills, • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, • Computer-literate with strong attention to detail Questions?
