This role involves ensuring adherence to regulatory standards (both state and federal), maintaining high-quality resident/patient care, overseeing financial stability, and promoting operational efficiency. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Performs leadership and management duties including mentoring, coaching, and driving culture., • Collaborates with community and home office leadership teams to develop strategies to maximize revenue, profit growth and control manageable expenditures., • Makes recommendations, implements and administers cost saving strategies to meet and exceed the company's financial goals., • Supports, promotes, and ensures compliance with legal, regulatory, accreditation and related guidelines and standards., • Monitors the operations and performance of communities to meet or exceed annual revenue goals, census, care, etc., • Provides advice and direction for improvement and enhancement of goals and objectives., • Plans, organizes, develops, implements, and interprets the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc. necessary for providing quality care and maintaining sound business operations., • Analyzes staffing levels to assist communities with recruitment, training, and retention of associates to meet community needs., • Promotes Watercrest's mission, vision, and values., • Strong operations and financial aptitude, • Resourceful and creative problem-solving approach to opportunities, • Team-oriented approach and ability to motivate and train managers and associates, • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, team members, residents, family members, and external parties, • Excellent organizational and time management skills, • Intermediate level of computer and technology competency, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other Microsoft Windows applications, • Passion working with seniors, • BS degree in business administration, health care administration or other relevant course of study field highly preferred, • Regional or cluster experience in a leadership role in assisted living, long-term care, or skilled nursing community, • Three years of experience in a leadership role in assisted living, long-term care, or skilled nursing community, with demonstrated turnaround experience, • Able to deal tactfully and professionally with associates, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies., • Six to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience., • At least 6-10 years of management experience, including supervising others, P&L responsibilities, sales & marketing, and other general business functions., • Must have basic to advanced computer experience., • Experience in senior living multi-community work setting required, • Ability to travel extensively to assigned communities, • Servant Leadership, • Strategic Thinking, • Problem Solving The following physical demands are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position: • Able to stand or walk 75% of the day, • Able to concentrate with frequent interruptions, • Able to work under conditions that require sitting, standing, walking, reaching, pulling, pushing, and grasping, • Able to talk and hear effectively in order to convey instructions and information to residents and team members, • Occasionally lift/carry up to 50 pounds
