King County is revitalizing its Ethics Program and we're looking for an engaged, creative, innovative Ethics Training and Program Coordinator to help us build a modern, accessible, and equity-centered ethics and fraud prevention education experience for thousands of employees across the County. In this role, you will design and deliver high-quality and engaging learning experiences that make complex ethics and fraud concepts approachable and meaningful. You'll refresh outdated content, collaborate with subject matter experts, and bring fresh energy to our evolving Ethics Program learning strategy. The successful candidate will have a role in leading King County's ethics and compliance program to ensure adherence to internal standards and regulatory requirements. About the Office of Risk Management Services The Office of Risk Management Services provides both internal and external services that help King County operate responsibly, transparently, and effectively. Our work includes: • Claims - Investigating and resolving claims made against King County quickly and fairly., • Insurance - Managing the County's self-insurance program and purchasing additional coverage as needed., • Contracts - Guiding departments on insurance requirements and assisting with complex contractual claims., • Recovery Services - Seeking reimbursement for damages or injuries caused to King County by negligent third parties., • Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) - Identifying risks and supporting departments with data, consultation, and action planning., • Finance & Administration - Delivering financial, budgeting, and administrative support for the division., • Open Government - Advancing government transparency through the Public Records Program, Ethics Program, Financial Disclosure, and Lobbyist Disclosure. Scope of Job Duties To be considered for this opportunity, you must be able to demonstrate your skills and abilities across the following areas: Learning Experience Design • Design and develop engaging in-person, virtual, and online learning, • Modernize legacy materials (slides, PDFs, ILT content) into SCORM/xAPI-compliant e-learning modules, videos, scenarios, and interactive tools., • Create accessible, visually clear job aids, infographics, and communications., • Ensure all learning products meet King County standards for accessibility, equity, branding, and usability.Training Facilitation, • Deliver Ethics Program training across virtual, in-person, and hybrid formats settings using effective, learner-centered facilitation, • Help employees at all levels understand ethics processes, real-world scenarios, and workplace expectations.Technology & Learning Management System Support, • Build, test, and deploy e-learning in the LMS; troubleshoot device/browser compatibility., • Track learning activity, support reporting, and contribute to improving overall LMS user experience., • Support rollout of the updated Ethics Program curriculum and program improvements., • Collaborate with subject matter experts to advance project plans, timelines, and deliverables., • Respond to complex ethics-related related questions from employees and the public., • Conduct audit reviews and support the Financial Disclosure process., • Other duties as assigned.
