Job Description KURU Footwear in Salt Lake City, Utah is looking for a Creative Strategist who can turn insight into impact, someone who knows that a great idea is only great if it converts. You'll be the scout, translator, and tactician behind high-performing creative across Meta, YouTube, email, landing pages, and beyond. A portfolio is required for consideration for this role. If that sounds like your kind of vibe, read on.Benefits & Perks: • Hybrid work environment, • Competitive pay, • Medical, Dental, Vision insurance, • Exclusive Employee Discounts: Enjoy 30–60% off retail prices on hundreds of brands through our partnership with Expertvoice., • Easy Access with Expertvoice: You will be able to sign up for free to explore and shop a wide range of products from top brands., • 401(k) with company match, • Employee referral bonuses, • Education assistance, • Sabbatical at 3 years, • Employee discount on KURU footwearKey Responsibilities Own the end-to-end creative pipeline across paid ads, landing pages, email, and lifecycle channels - from concept through optimization. * Drive improvement in Winning Creative Rate by building structured testing roadmaps with clear hypotheses and measurable performance outcomes. * Write insight-driven briefs that balance data and emotion, inspiring creators to produce scroll-stopping, revenue-generating work. * Partner closely with Growth to identify what's working, what's not, and where to scale - ensuring all executions align with performance goals and brand standards. * Analyze customer reviews, audience research, and behavioral data to uncover emotional and functional purchase drivers, translating them into scalable hooks, angles, and narratives. * Develop repeatable creative frameworks and durable content pillars that fuel paid, lifecycle, and organic channels without sacrificing originality. * Collaborate with Brand, Acquisition, and Product Marketing to concept, pitch, and execute breakthrough campaigns that build demand and expand the category. What You Bring * High School Diploma or equivalent with 4-7 years in a creative strategy, growth creative, or performance creative role (brand-side or agency) - or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Proven experience briefing and collaborating with creators, editors, and designers. * Background in product marketing, content marketing, or social-first storytelling. * Strong proficiency in Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and related performance tools - and the judgment to turn data into decisions. * Demonstrated success scaling campaigns across UGC, motion, and static formats. * Deep understanding of paid media platforms, especially Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. * Experience working cross-functionally across paid, owned, and earned channels. * A portfolio that shows both creative instinct and measurable results. You'll Thrive Here If You: * Think analytically but create emotionally. * Have launched a high volume of ads and can reverse-engineer why they worked (or didn't). * Obsess over improving hooks, headlines, edits, and angles until performance lifts. * Write briefs that are clear, compelling, and unlock creative talent. * Enjoy moving fast, testing often, and scaling what works. Bonus: Experience in DTC, wellness, lifestyle, or high-consideration consumer products. Work Environment * Primarily office-based in Salt Lake City. * Regular computer and phone use. * Occasional lifting up to 15 lbs. * Standard physical demands associated with a professional office environment.
