Fleet Maintenance Manager Join a growing, respected transportation organization as a fleet manager overseeing repair and maintenance operations for a multi-state trucking fleet. Fleet Manager Benefits & Compensation • Competitive salary ($80K–$95K/year), • Retirement plan with company match, up to 4%, • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, life, and supplemental insurance, • Paid time off based on tenure, • 6 paid holidays per year, • Company vehicle, laptop, and cell phone for work-related travel, • Supportive and collaborative team environment with growth opportunities Fleet Manager Requirements & Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of management and operations experience, • Prior experience in the delivery/trucking industry required; fuel hauling experience preferred, • Proven expertise in fleet maintenance, industry trends, best practices, and compliance requirements, • Ability to create and implement effective training programs, • Strong organizational skills and work ethic, • Demonstrated leadership with the ability to empower and motivate teams, • Effective communicator with people at all levels and backgrounds, • Intermediate computer proficiency, • Ability to make balanced decisions considering cost, customer expectations, and driver needs, • Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred Fleet Manager Preferred Background & Skills • Experience with fuel hauling operations, • Hands-on knowledge of electronic log and camera systems (e.g. Samsara), • Familiarity with DOT compliance and safety requirements Fleet Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities • Oversee transportation division operations, focusing on fleet assets, maintenance, and workforce management, • Coordinate maintenance, scheduling, and repairs for trucks and equipment across multiple locations, • Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of mechanics and transport personnel, • Manage inventory of key supplies, including tires and parts, • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards, • Oversee new truck outfitting and manage equipment movement logistics, • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, facilities, and industry partners, • Travel regularly to regional work sites; report daily to Ponca City yard If you are an organized and experienced transportation professional ready to make a positive impact within a growing company, we encourage you to apply.
