Lead Analytics Engineer (F/M/X)Full remote · Europe · Product & Engineering Who are we?In 2017, after more than ten years in the lift industry across Europe and Asia, Benoît Dupont noticed a system stuck in its ways, where speed takes priority over quality and frontline teams remain invisible. With Jade Francine, he founded WeMaintain to put technology and trust back into building maintenance, and the people doing the work back at the centre of it. Their ambition: give technicians back their autonomy, build the IoT technology in-house, and design the service around the people who use it.Based in Paris, London, Singapore and Hong Kong, we maintain lifts, escalators, automatic doors and fire safety systems. With 350+ employees, we combine on-the-ground expertise with data-driven management to deliver maintenance that performs and that our clients can see into.In April 2026, Otis, the world's largest elevator and escalator company, became our majority shareholder. We keep running as we always have: same team, same brand, same mission. What changes is the scale of what we can go after, and the means behind us to do it. Why join us?Because here, you don't have to choose between impact and stability.Large groups tend to offer stability with little room to manoeuvre. Smaller organisations offer more freedom, sometimes without clear direction. We aim to sit between the two:Autonomy, with the tools and the support to use itA culture built on trust and transparencyOpportunities for growth and internal mobilityA team that values commitment and follow-throughAnd our values guide us every day:Care: Working with respect and kindness, internally as well as with our customersGrit: Seeing things through, with high standards and determinationUniqueness: Daring to be yourself, sharing your ideas and challenging the status quo Who we're looking forWe are looking for a Lead Analytics Engineer to be the right hand of our CTO on data, and the right hand of our Global Head of Operations on making a 350-person, four-country operation data-driven.It is one job made of two halves. If what you want is to go deep on modelling and be left alone, this is not the role. Roughly half of it is sitting with Operations, in the UK, France, Singapore and Hong Kong, arguing about what we should be measuring and why, and then being the person who makes that measurable. We're not starting from scratch. There's a data lake, dbt on BigQuery, Looker on top, and it works. Software engineers, Data scientist and even some business champions commit to it daily. Nobody owns all of it though, which is where you come in.This is a hands-on individual contributor role with no direct reports. You will not manage a team, and we are not planning to build one under you. You will set the standard for how data lands in our lake and how it gets used, and hold the rest of the engineering team to it.You'll join a Product & Engineering team of around 20 people, growing by 50% over the next year. Your day-to-day at WeMaintainAs Lead Analytics Engineer, you will:Bring new data into the lake, constantly. This is the steady heartbeat of the role: new sources, new fields from sources we already have, new needs from every part of the business. None of it is rocket science, but our business is a dense one. Four countries, thousands of buildings, an IoT fleet, field engineers, contracts, regulation. Modeling it well is the hard part.Own the modeling layer. dbt on BigQuery today: models, tests, documentation, reliability. You decide how it evolves, including whether dbt is still the right answer in two years, or when the IoT fleet has grown tenfold.Define what "good" looks like for our operational KPIs. Our field and operations teams know their business better than anyone. What they don't have is someone technical standing next to them, turning that knowledge into numbers everyone trusts. You'll be that person, with Marine, our Global Head of Operations, as your closest counterpart: deciding what we count, how we count it, and what a result has to show before it means we're winning.Help one standard become true in four countries. We operate in the UK, France, Singapore and Hong Kong, and good practice invented in one of them should become how the whole group works. Spotting it and rolling it out is Operations' call. Making sure it's made on evidence rather than instinct, and that we can tell afterwards whether it worked, is yours.Build the analysis the business doesn't have yet: client churn prediction, contract-level economics, engineer productivity, and what our IoT devices tell us about how lifts are actually used.Keep the platform fast and affordable. BigQuery cost control is your call, not an afterthought.Extend the platform where it needs extending: UDFs, signed links, LLMs running directly in the warehouse, and whatever else the next problem needs.Raise the standard around you. Engineers across the team push data into the lake. You set the rules of the road, and you push back when they're not followed. On AI, specificallyUse them. Obviously. We'd think it strange if you didn't.The tooling has moved the goalposts in the last two years, for how we ship and for what we can ship at all. We'd rather talk about what that makes possible than about which model we're on this month. It doesn't remove the need for strong engineers. It makes them more valuable, because someone still has to know what good looks like. Use it however you see fit. You won't be BS'd or FOMO'd about it here. And a word on the fieldFrom the outside the industry looks remote and a bit dull. It's neither, and what you find once you're in it is how tightly coupled everything has to be. Problem detection feeds the device state service, which needs the SLA on the contract, which depends on the customer, and which regulation reads differently in each of our four countries. Very little here is a self-contained feature. The data you will provide will change how someone's day goes on site. You'll see that for yourself during onboarding. It isn't a day-to-day part of the job, but it's the reason the job matters. What we're looking forYou might be a great fit if you:Have been the person who owned a data platform end to end, from ingestion through to the numbers a leadership team argues over. Ideally without a large team behind you.Have done both halves. You've written the pipeline and you've sat in the room where the business decided what to do about the result. Neither one feels like someone else's job to you.Are fluent in SQL, data lakes, transformation and ETL. We care much less about which tools you learned them in.Are comfortable being the standard-bearer without the authority. Influence and credibility, not a reporting line. Can tell an operator they're measuring the wrong thing and be listened to, because you understood their problem first.Bring structure to messy operational data and are not upset when reality refuses to be clean. Are at ease working fully remotely across four countries and two continents, and take the initiative to stay close to people. We do not require experience with our specific stack. If you've never touched dbt, BigQuery or Looker but you've built and owned the equivalent elsewhere, we want to talk to you.English is the working language of this role. Bonus points ifYou've started, run or helped build something of your own, and you judge your work by what it changed rather than the code you wrote. You've worked in an operations-heavy business: field service, logistics, industrial, energy, anywhere the data describes physical things happening in the world. You've worked with IoT or time-series data. You have hands-on experience with dbt, BigQuery or Looker. You've introduced AI tooling into a data team in a way that stuck. You've worked across multiple countries and know how differently the same process can look in each one.We don't expect you to have seen everything already. We do expect you to ramp fast and take ownership quickly. Why this role is differentYou'd own the data layer of a company that is currently working out how it wants to run globally. Most of the big questions haven't been answered yet, and you'd be in the room for them.Senior data people usually end up either close to the warehouse or close to the business. Here it's both, with a direct line to the CTO and to the Global Head of Operations. And it's full remote, properly. The whole team gets together in person three times a year.️ How to applyEvery application is reviewed carefully. Tell us who you are, what attracts you to this role, and what you'd like to build with us.We value motivation, curiosity and potential over a "perfect" background. To apply, click the "Apply" button below and answer a few questions in the form. It's quick, and it helps us get to know you better. At WeMaintain, we value diversity, encourage personal development, and are committed to inclusion. Whatever your background, story or identity, you are welcome to apply. Recruitment processFour stages. We move quickly and we'll keep you posted at every step.An interview with a member of our team, like Lionel (Principal Engineer) 60 mins A working conversation about how you've built and owned data platforms, the calls you've made, and what you'd want to own here. Make sure the role is a good fit.A practical exercise, followed by a 90-minute debrief with David (CTO) and another senior engineer We send you a problem a few days ahead. Spend 30 minutes on it. No code, no slides, no prep deck. Then we talk it through together. We're interested in how you think, what you ask, and where you push back. The artefact doesn't matter.A final round: 45 mins with Marine (Global Head of Operations), then 45 mins with 2–3 members of the team With Marine, a conversation about the business half of the role: how you work with operators, and how you'd approach defining what good looks like. With the team, collaboration style, ownership, and expectations on both sides.Welcome to the team! SalaryAs this is a Europe-wide role, compensation is adapted to the candidate's country of location and aligned with local market benchmarks.80,000 – 105,000 base salary, depending on your country. The exact package will depend on experience, level of ownership, and demonstrated impact. We'll confirm the specific range for your country before your first interview.

AI Platform builds the foundations of Datadog's AI efforts. The org is 70+ people organised in three pillars: training and serving (GPU clusters, distributed training, low-level infrastructure), agents (agent harnesses, memory systems, the internal AI gateway that routes every LLM request at Datadog), and evaluation and experimentation. This role sits in the evaluation and experimentation pillar, which owns Datadog's shared annotation and evaluation infrastructure — including the evaluation scenario store and the telemetry archival systems used across the Bits org. Together they let an agent travel back in time and query what Datadog looked like at the exact moment an incident happened, so scenarios can be replayed and agent performance tracked over time.Specifically, you'll be the first applied scientist on GenSim (Generative Simulations), the team that builds the environments Datadog's agents learn in. GenSim doesn't replay sampled telemetry — it stands up real, fully instrumented applications that talk to Datadog, drives them with representative traffic, injects controlled failures, and records what happens. Because GenSim injected the failure, it knows the ground truth. That corpus — hundreds of postmortem-derived scenarios and thousands of runnable applications — is today the primary source of post-training data for Datadog's own SRE model, and the substrate that Bits AI SRE and our other agents are trained and evaluated against. The team has no applied science support today and is learning post-training data methodology on the fly. That's the gap this role fills, and the open questions are the interesting part. How do you tell whether a generated environment is actually representative of the messy, incomplete telemetry real customers run — rather than a suspiciously clean one where every monitor exists and every service emits complete logs? How do you make injected problems genuinely hard, and how do you even measure difficulty? How do you define and control the quality of post-training data when correctness, representativeness and difficulty pull in different directions? How do you evaluate an agent end to end when the trajectory is non-deterministic? Creating simulated agent environments for monitoring and SRE work is not well solved in open source or in published research, and Datadog is the leading company in this field. If those are the problems you want to spend your time on, come build this with us.What You'll Do:Own the applied science direction for GenSim: set the methodology and the forward-looking technical calls on how simulated environments and post-training data should be built, on a team where that decision-making does not exist yet.Define, measure and raise the quality of post-training data — basic correctness, representativeness against the real distribution of customer systems and production telemetry, and difficulty — and make those measures something the team can act on release over release.Close the realism gap. Simulated environments today are too clean and the injected problems are not yet hard enough; you'll drive the research and the engineering that make them look like real, imperfect production systems.Build scalable, production-grade systems rather than research scripts. The output is not just a dataset — it is a system of synthetic environments that must be reliable and invokable inside a training loop.Determine how this data is best applied, in LLM post-training and in evaluation, and own the agent and LLM application evaluation approaches for these environments.Work cross-functionally with the engineers and applied scientists on adjacent teams — Bits AI SRE, the model training effort, and the wider evaluation and experimentation pillar — so that what you learn moves freely in both directions.Who You Are:You have a PhD, MS or equivalent research experience in a scientific field, with strong applied mathematics grounding.6+ years of relevant applied science or ML engineering experience, including setting technical direction for others. You have hands-on experience with LLM and agent post-training data: how it is created, managed, and how training-data quality is controlled. This is the requirement that matters most. You have real domain expertise in LLMs and agentic applications — not classical ML fine-tuning. Fine-tuning classifiers or traditional models is a different problem from the one this team is solving. You have evaluated agents or LLM applications, and can define what 'good' means before you measure it.You are a strong programmer and production software engineer. Python at minimum, plus the ability to ship scalable production systems and work with distributed systems. You collaborate well across engineering and science teams, and you're comfortable being the domain expert who decides what comes next. You thrive in ambiguity and can make sound technical calls when the path isn't yet defined.Bonus Points:Hands-on LLM fine-tuning, post-training or model training experience. Background in statistics, experiment design and data analysis.Experience deploying production-level ML infrastructure.Observability or monitoring systems background.Architecture-level understanding of LLMs.Benefits & Growth:New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan (ESPP)Continuous professional development, product training, and career pathingIntra-departmental mentor and buddy program for in-house networkingAn inclusive company culture and the ability to join our Community GuildsAccess to Inclusion Talks, our internal panel discussionsFree, global Spring Health benefits for employees and dependents age 6+Competitive global benefitsBenefits and Growth listed above may vary based on the country of your employment and the nature of your employment with Datadog.#LI-HybridAbout Datadog: Datadog is the leading observability and security platform for the AI era, providing businesses with unified visibility across the technology stack to manage complexity at scale. ABOUT CFMFounded in 1991, we are a global quantitative and systematic asset management firm applying a scientific approach to finance to develop alternative investment strategies that create value for our clients. We value innovation, dedication, collaboration, and the ability to make an impact. Together, we create a stimulating environment for talented and passionate experts in research, technology, and business to explore new ideas and challenge existing assumptions.Your RoleThis position is for an ML platform engineer within the ML Platform team, dedicated to teams working with large scale market data, i.e. a software engineer building tools for ML workflows. You will be the primary ML Platform contact for a functional team at CFM, dedicating a majority of your time to enabling that team’s ML work, and the remaining time to collaborating with the core ML Platform group. The goal of the role is to make the default ML workflow faster and safer for large scale market data users by: building and improving Python-first tooling and patterns, ensuring solutions are production-ready (MLOps, reliability, monitoring), and occasionally diving into C++ parts of the stack to debug issues, investigate performance bottlenecks, or contribute fixes in collaboration with owners. This is an enablement role: success is measured by team productivity, fewer recurring failures, and adoption of shared patterns, not by isolated heroics. Key ResponsibilitiesEnable and accelerate a functional team working with full scale market data by supporting their end-to-end ML lifecycle (data training evaluation deployment). Drive adoption of ML Platform tools and services through hands-on integration support, examples, and pragmatic guidance. Guide the evolution of ML Platform tooling based on real user needs (identify friction, propose improvements, validate with users, help ship changes). Establish and promote standards for ML development: reproducibility, quality, auditability, and maintainability (testing, versioning, documentation). Build self-service tooling (libraries, templates, reference implementations, automation) to reduce dependency on the platform team. Improve production readiness of ML systems: CI/CD, environment consistency, monitoring/alerting, incident readiness, and safe rollout practices. Mentor junior team members as the team expands; teach by building (docs, examples, office hours, paired debugging). Advocate for industry best practices in ML-related software engineering across the company. Your SkillsYour skillsMandatoryTechnicalStrong Python engineering skills and software development best practices (maintainable code, testing strategy, packaging, typing, profiling/performance awareness).Experience building and operating software in production environments, and typical production challenges (reproducibility, CI/CD, lifecycle management, monitoring, incident/debug workflows).Containers + Linux/UNIX fluency: ability to build/debug container images and troubleshoot runtime/environment issues.AWS experience, deploying and operating workloads and supporting services in cloud environments.Experience working with large scale time series and understanding the common pitfalls in evaluation and deployment.Work methodologyComfortable with iterative delivery: pragmatic Agile practices (small increments, fast feedback, clear ownership), not process for process’ sake.Soft skillsAbility to simplify and communicate technical concepts clearly to multiple audiences (researchers, engineers, leadership).Strong product/platform mindset: keep a user-focused approach while avoiding short-term fixes that create long-term platform debt.Ability to influence without authority: inspire and help teams adopt best practices through enablement, examples, and good defaults.Prioritize overall team productivity and resilience via skill-sharing, documentation, and reusable building blocks.Nice to haveTechnicalC++ working knowledge: ability to read/debug/patch C++ components when needed and collaborate effectively with C++ owners (deep specialization not required, but you must be comfortable going there).Experience building and operating ML systems Experience as a Data scientist (useful for empathy with Research workflow and evaluation practicesExperience with inference servers (e.g., Triton) or building production serving services (HTTP/gRPC, scaling, latency/throughput tradeoffs).Platform design / software architecture experience (APIs, multi-tenant systems, shared libraries, backwards compatibility).“Design thinking” applied to platform work: identifying user journeys, reducing cognitive load, making the right thing the easy thing. If you don’t meet every requirement but believe you’d be a great fit, feel free to reach out to us.EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES STATEMENT We are continuously striving to be an equal opportunity employer and we prohibit any discrimination based on sex, disability, origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, race, or religion. We believe that our diversity, breadth of experience, and multiple points of view are among the leading factors in our success.CFM is a signatory of the Women Empowerment Principles.FOLLOW US Follow us on Twitter or LinkedIn or visit our website to find out more about CFM.

The Behavior AI team builds the AI-based anomaly detection behind Datadog's security products. Our models learn what normal looks like across the billions of logs, events, and telemetry records flowing through the platform every second, and they flag the behavior that does not fit, on every record, in real time, at a cost that makes sense at our scale. What we build does not ship to a single feature. The same models power detection across many of Datadog's security products at once, so the work has impact well beyond any one team. Large general-purpose models are too slow and too expensive to run in that path, so we take the opposite approach: small, custom models, designed for high-throughput stream processing and optimized to run cheaply on every record. We are hiring a Senior Applied Scientist to build these models from start to finish. You will contribute to designing the architecture, training at scale, and the optimization work that takes a model from training to running efficiently on production traffic. This optimization requires a deep understanding of the constraints imposed by both the software and the hardware, together with the applied mathematics to work within them: often it comes down to finding a mathematical reformulation that fits those constraints better, and that judgment can decide whether a model reaches production at all.The work involves a number of open questions. How do you obtain most of the quality of a large model from one that is far smaller and cheap enough to run on the full stream? Where is it worth trading exactness for speed, and how do you reason about the error you accept? How do you make a small model's outputs clear enough that the detection engineers and analysts who rely on it can trust what it reports? If these are the problems you want to work on, we would like to hear from you.At Datadog, we place value in our office culture: the relationships and collaboration it builds, and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them. What You'll Do:Design and build custom mid-size models for high-throughput stream processing, and train them at scale.Optimize these models from start to finish, working across both the mathematics and the systems, often by finding mathematical reformulations that fit the hardware and software constraints better.Build the training data pipelines the work depends on when they do not already exist, from the raw stream to a training-ready dataset.Work with engineering to integrate models into production, with a clear focus on GPU utilization, latency, and cost per record on live traffic.Plan the roadmap of model and system improvements, based on a solid understanding of the product and of what matters most to users.Build an agentic layer on top of the models to analyze, validate, and act on their outputs.Build lightweight interpretability tools that make model behavior easier to explain to the people who rely on it.Maintain and monitor the models, services, and infrastructure your team owns, and take part in your team's on-call rotation.Who You Are:You have a BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, or a related scientific field, or equivalent experience. You have hands-on experience training and fine-tuning models at scale, and deploying them into production systems with real throughput and cost constraints. You have a working knowledge of how GPUs work, and a track record of making models run efficiently within real hardware constraints. You have strong applied-mathematics fundamentals and reach for them naturally when designing and optimizing models. You have a real passion for applied mathematics, software design, and implementation. This role sits at the intersection of the three, and it is a requirement for the position. You care about code simplicity and performance, and you can build the data pipelines and the surrounding production code, in addition to the models themselves. You can explain complex ideas and trade-offs clearly to engineers and product partners, and you let a solid understanding of the product guide what you build next.Bonus: experience with efficient sequence architectures, model interpretability, or large-scale streaming systems.Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you're passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.Benefits and Growth:New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan (ESPP)Continuous professional development, product training, and career pathingOpportunity to attend and present at conferences and meetups, and to publish your workIntra-departmental mentor and buddy program for in-house networkingAn inclusive company culture, ability to join our Community Guilds (Datadog employee resource groups)Competitive global benefitsBenefits and Growth listed above may vary based on the country of your employment and the nature of your employment with Datadog.About Datadog, Equal Opportunity, and Privacy and AI Guidelines boilerplate is appended automatically by the applicant tracking system. Job-ID: 41e6fe22-bc9f-455b-9b75-9406f754fcccLocation: ParisSalary: 62185 - 69648 EURType: Full timePosted: 2026-08-21Contact: monika.grzadka@klarna.comKlarna, briefly At Klarna, we're building an everyday finance network, helping over 120 million consumers across 26 countries save time and money, and worry less about their finances.Working at Klarna means taking on problems most companies never get to solve, and being hands-on enough that the interesting part of the work lands with you, not someone else. You'll build with AI, not watch it happen. This is the stretch zone. Come find out what you're capable of. About the role You'll turn open banking data into credit risk decisions for the French market — decisions Klarna can stand behind and that are fair to our consumers. That means going beyond raw transaction feeds into the signals that actually predict repayment: income and expense patterns, account turnover, and account behavior over time. Depending on your background, this sits closer to underwriting policy (shaping the decision logic itself) or closer to modeling (building what feeds it) — we'll figure out which fits once we understand your experience, and the exact scope may shift as the team's needs do. France is a market where Klarna is continuously growing, and leaning further into open banking data is the natural next step — you'll be working with transaction-level account data as a primary signal, not a secondary one. You'll work closely with Risk, Product, and regional sales teams to evolve how Klarna underwrites in France and other markets that we operate in, utilizing the power of open banking. What you'll do You'll evolve underwriting policy, the models behind it, or both, depending on where your experience is strongest. You'll work with Risk, Product, and regional teams to keep French underwriting aligned with the business and with regulation. You'll balance consumer fairness against portfolio performance — too strict costs approvals, too loose costs losses, and you'll own that trade-off. You'll turn what the data shows into changes the business actually implements, not analysis that sits in a deck. You'll help move Klarna's French underwriting toward a single global decisioning platform. Who you are You've spent 3+ years turning bank account and transaction data into an actual consumer lending decision at a bank, BNPL platform, or consumer finance lender, ideally in the French market specifically. You come from engineering, data science, mathematics, or software engineering — or from business or economics, backed by real hands-on bank-based underwriting work. You're fluent in French and comfortable working in English, Klarna's working language. You're comfortable in SQL and with large datasets. You can explain what the data means to people who don't build models for a living. Things you should know before applying Working together: we value co-located teams; most teams currently meet in the office 2–3 days per week, and this varies by team and can change over time. Non-obvious backgrounds are welcome. Diversity of skills, perspectives and backgrounds is how we create, innovate, and disrupt like no other. Final compensation will be based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience. Depending on your background, this could land as an Analyst role or a Data Scientist role — we'll settle the exact title with you once we understand your experience. Please include a CV in English.
