POSITION OVERVIEW For the French retail, wholesale, and kitchen specialist channels, define and execute product strategy, go-to-market (GTM), and roadmap planning for washing machine and refrigerator categories. Strengthen category competitiveness and profitability, ensuring steady growth for both brands (Midea and TEKA) across target channels. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Market and Competitor Analysis: Systematically study the French MDA landscape, price bands, channel structure, and consumer trends; track competitors’ specifications, USPs, channel coverage, and promotional tactics; produce analytical reports and propose category strategies and planning recommendations., • Product Strategy and Planning: Based on Midea and TEKA brand positioning, build a 1–2-year product roadmap, including SKU portfolio, features and energy ratings, price bands, hero models, and differentiated configurations; design channel-specific assortments for large retail accounts, wholesale accounts, and kitchen specialist channels., • Lifecycle Management: Define and manage phase-in/phase-out timelines for new and outgoing products; set key milestones, demo/sample and collateral readiness, inventory and substitution mapping to reduce exit risks and inventory losses., • GTM Execution: Develop and run the France GTM plan (target customers, value propositions, pricing and rebate structures, launch cadence, demo units and merchandising, digital assets/PIM and data sheets) to ensure launch readiness and store shellability., • Product Promotion and Enablement: Organize and deliver product collateral (sell-sheets/feature cards, spec sheets, installation guides, comparison pages, energy label and certification notes, in-store merchandising guidelines); design and conduct training for internal sales, customer buyers, customer sales and retail staff; establish a recurring training mechanism and question bank., • Business and Results Ownership: Own category sales scale, channel attainment, gross and net profit; set pricing strategy (MSRP/channel/promo), optimize margin mix and SKU health; conduct monthly/quarterly reviews and propose corrective and optimization actions., • Cross-functional Collaboration:sales (customization requests and tenders), marketing & PR (communications and merchandising), and after-sales & spare parts to advance key account customization and project delivery., • Data-driven Operations: Build category dashboards; continuously track sell-in, sell-out, inventory turns, price-band share, margin mix, and channel coverage; perform post-mortems on promotions and launches and optimize accordingly. KEY QUALIFICATIONS • Education & Background: Bac+3/5 (Bachelor’s/Master’s) preferred in business, engineering, marketing, or international trade; or equivalent practical experience., • Experience: 5+ years in MDA product/category management, with at least 3 years hands-on experience operating washing machine/refrigerator categories in France; experience with dual-brand portfolio planning, channel-differentiated assortments, and lifecycle management (phase-in/phase-out)., • Market & Channel Understanding: Deep knowledge of the French appliance channel landscape—GSS (specialist appliance chains), GSA/general retail and buying groups (centrales d’achat), wholesale distributor networks, kitchen specialist channels, and e-commerce platforms; familiar with listing standards and data requirements, as well as promotional/rebate mechanics (e.g., RFA end-of-year rebates, ODR cashback)., • Core Competencies:, • Strong market insight and product strategy capability; adept at annual/mid-term roadmap planning and GTM execution., • Solid pricing and profit modeling skills; able to balance feature configuration, cost, and margin structure., • Skilled at delivering French-language training and product enablement to sales teams and customer-facing staff., • Strong project management and cross-functional leadership; results-oriented with excellent problem-solving and resilience., • Data analysis skills (advanced Excel functions/pivot tables/Power Query; familiarity with BI tools is a plus)., • Tools & Systems: Proficient with PLM/PIM (e.g., Akeneo/Salsify) and ERP (e.g., SAP/Oracle); understanding of GS1/GDSN and normalized product data management; able to maintain consistency across spec sheets and digital assets., • Compliance & Quality: Familiar with EU and French regulations/compliance (A–G energy label, CE marking, WEEE/DEEE and EPR, éco participation)., • Language & Communication: French required (professional business and training delivery); English proficient for coordination with HQ/overseas and documentation; Chinese is a plus but not mandatory. Strong cross-cultural collaboration skills., • Travel & Working Arrangement: Willing to travel within France (client visits, store checks, trainings); occasional trips to Europe or China for HQ meetings/factory visits; holds a valid right to work in France.
