COMPANY The MS-search agency performs headhunting missions of managers, senior executives and other key players for the benefit of French and International groups, particularly for Nordic companies set up in France and its border states, as well as for branches of French companies located in the Nordic countries such as Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. Our client, CEJN Group, is a globally recognized leader in quick connect coupling solutions for hydraulics, pneumatics, fluids, and gases. Founded in 1955 in Sweden, CEJN is a family-owned industrial company that has built a strong reputation for innovation, safety, and high-performance engineering. The company maintains a strong global footprint with 18 sales offices and 4 state-of-the-art production facilities, allowing it to serve customers locally while leveraging global expertise and resources. CEJN’s annual turnover was €150 million in 2025, with a target budget of 185 M€ in 2026, reflecting steady organic growth of approx. 15% each year and a solid market position within the fluid handling and industrial components sector. CEJN France plays a key role in the Group’s European operations, supporting customers across the French market with technical expertise, local service, and tailored solutions. The French subsidiary employs approximately 9 people and generates annual revenue of around €5 million. POSITION The Managing Director France will be responsible for leading and developing the French operations of the CEJN Group. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the business, with a strong focus on sales performance, while also managing marketing, finance, and operations to ensure the achievement of business objectives and growth targets. Key Responsibilities: • Actively driving the sales and marketing process together with the team., • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business goals, with a primary focus on increasing sales and market share., • Lead and manage the French team, providing direction, coaching, and development to drive performance., • Oversee the daily operations of the French entity, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness., • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities., • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers., • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies., • Prepare and present regular reports on business performance to Group management., • The MD will report to the VP Europe. The position is based in Évry-Courcouronnes (91), with frequent travel within France. PROFILE • Proven track record of at least 10 years in a senior sales and/or general management role., • Strong technical understanding, with experience in high-quality B2B industrial equipment (strong understanding of OEMs and distributors)., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills., • Strong financial acumen, with experience managing P&L, margins, budgets, and overall financial performance with a good understanding of the drivers behind., • Ideally, experience working within a subsidiary of an international group in France., • Good knowledge of the French industrial market and trends., • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, engage, and develop a team., • University degree or engineering background., • Fluent in French and English, ideally with experience in an international reporting environment., • Willingness to travel frequently within France., • Strong negotiation and influencing skills., • Proficiency in business tools and CRM systems.
