Sales Director 📍 London (Hybrid – 2–3 days per week in the office) 🕓 Full-time | 9am – 5:30pm A leading digital media brand is seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Sales Director to lead high-value partnerships and accelerate growth across social, content and digital channels. This is a key leadership role — responsible for driving revenue, shaping strategic partnerships, and positioning the brand as the go-to destination for creative, data-led campaigns that deliver meaningful results. The Opportunity The Sales Director will: • Lead and grow commercial partnerships across key client and agency portfolios, consistently delivering against revenue targets., • Build and nurture senior relationships with decision-makers, positioning the brand as an essential media partner within the parenting and women’s lifestyle sectors., • Champion insight-led, idea-driven selling — combining audience data, editorial expertise, and social innovation to craft standout partnership concepts., • Proactively develop and pitch custom campaigns, while also responding strategically to inbound briefs and always-on opportunities., • Collaborate across Data, Social, Audio, Programmatic, Ecommerce, and Events teams to deliver joined-up, high-performing solutions., • Oversee campaign performance to ensure every partnership is delivered to the highest standard, exceeding client KPIs., • Create compelling, data-driven presentations that bring audience insights to life and demonstrate commercial value., • Identify and monetise new revenue opportunities in line with wider digital and innovation strategies. About You The ideal candidate will have: • 10+ years’ experience in senior digital sales within a leading publisher or media owner., • A proven track record of delivering large-scale, high-value partnerships from concept to renewal., • Deep understanding of the UK digital advertising market, including agency structures and client needs., • Expertise across social platforms, with the ability to develop engaging branded content and social-first campaigns., • Strong commercial instincts — confident analysing data, spotting opportunities, and managing pricing and yield., • Hands-on understanding of programmatic and digital trading (PMP, PG, direct and video)., • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the credibility to influence at all levels., • A creative and strategic mindset — able to turn audience insight and storytelling into standout commercial ideas. Key Objectives • Drive creative and commercial partnerships across social, digital, and content platforms., • Increase visibility and market share across agencies and key clients., • Develop high-impact sales collateral and pitch decks that showcase audience insight and campaign ROI., • Grow overall partnership revenue by deepening existing relationships and securing new advertisers., • Win large-scale hero partnerships (£350k+) and mid-tier deals (£100k+) that contribute to sustained growth.
