A leading UK law firm is seeking a talented Restructuring & Insolvency Associate (3–5 years’ PQE) to join its high‑performing team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work alongside a recognised Tier 1 leader in the restructuring and insolvency space, advising on a broad mix of contentious, non‑contentious, and advisory matters. The Role: As an Associate in the Restructuring & Insolvency team, you will act for a diverse client base including insolvency practitioners, corporates, directors, distressed lenders, and creditors. Your responsibilities will include: • Preparing written advice for clients on a full range of restructuring and insolvency matters, referencing statute and case law, • Drafting pre‑action correspondence, court documents, and witness evidence, • Preparing contractual and ancillary documents, including:, • secured lending documentation, • business and asset sale agreements, • Conducting security reviews and advising on enforcement options, • Preparing appointment documentation, • Building strong working relationships with clients, colleagues, and referrers, • Contributing to BD and marketing initiatives such as article writing, blog contributions, seminar participation, and client networking, • Maintaining strong financial discipline and high‑quality case/document management, • Keeping up to date with legal, market, and sector‑specific developments, • Supporting team improvements, efficiencies, and innovation About You: Essential experience and skills: • 3–5 years’ PQE (or equivalent experience) in restructuring and insolvency within a reputable practice, • Strong technical expertise and drafting skills, with high accuracy and attention to detail, • Ability to manage a busy and varied workload within defined deadlines, • Commercial awareness and the ability to deliver clear, practical advice, • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a client‑focused mindset, • Ability to support junior staff when required, • Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Outlook and Word), • Experience in time recording, cost estimation, and billing, • Awareness of confidentiality, information security, and data protection obligations, • Team‑focused, respectful, and collaborative, • Positive, proactive, and commercially minded, • Open to change with a strong growth mindset, • Professional, reliable, and committed to delivering high‑quality work If you would like to hear more about this role please apply or get in touch at .
