We offer the following benefits: • Working as part of a motivated, child-focused team, • Competitive salary, • Pension scheme, • Opt-in private medical & well-being scheme The role will include: • Supporting Supervising Social Workers in and around South/West Yorkshire, East Riding and Hull, • Delivering the best outcomes for children and young people in foster care, • Safeguarding children and young people, • Direct work with young people, organising events for foster carers and/or children on a regular or ad hoc basis Further training for this role will be provided. About You You will be able to work closely with colleagues, have good communication skills, and a professional approach to working with young people and foster carers. Requirements for the right candidate include: • Qualifications and experience of working with children and young people are desirable, • A strong desire to support vulnerable children and young people achieve their best outcomes is essential for this post, • Able to respond flexibly and quickly in times of crisis to support foster carers with the challenges of looked after young people, • Be IT literate, • Full driving licence and your own transport. Experience • Direct Work with Children: 2 years (preferred)
