Are you looking for an Employment Law / ER advisory role where the focus is on quality and client relationships, not billable hours, targets or sales? You’ll be part of a small advisory team supporting a retained client base. Most support is delivered over the phone, handling a mix of: • Advice line calls (day-to-day employment law / HR queries), • Case management (disciplinary, grievance, sickness/absence, performance, redundancy, and sometimes TUPE), • Document support (letters/templates, plus contract/handbook reviews for new clients) What you’ll need • Confidence to advise employers over the phone and give practical, clear guidance., • Solid, hands-on experience across core ER areas: disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance (redundancy exposure helpful)., • Experience: ideally 2+ years in an employment law / ER advisory setting., • Qualifications: a law degree is preferred, but they’re open-minded. This could suit a legally trained candidate or an experienced HR/ER advice-line adviser. Other Information • Salary: Up to £40,000 (dependent on experience), • Hours: Core hours Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, • Flexibility: A full-time role but can be open to 30 hours per week (part-time) or alternative patterns (e.g. working around school hours), depending on coverage, • Working pattern: Ideally 4 days office / 1 day working from home (Potential for 2 days WFH for the right candidate), • Holidays: 33 days annual leave (25 days + bank holidays), • Benefits: Private Medical Insurance from day 1 (includes dental & optical), • Bonus: Profit-related company bonus
