Provide a key customer liaison to communicate part development countermeasures (PDR) in agreed timescales. Support part development, through all aspects of the trial build process. Represent the QA department within new model project teams, working closely with other client functions, external toolmakers, Tier 2 suppliers and Customers. Ensure APQP/IATF16949 documentation and standards are maintained throughout the new model process. Co-ordinate new model metrology responsibilities, to ensure all inspection standard and key feature requirements are completed in line with APQP/Project Milestone expectations. Clear interpretation of requirements relating to technical drawing and standards. Support of continuous improvement activities such as kaizen and process audits.
