ROLE PURPOSE Project Managers at RONIN International are hands-on, versatile individuals that operate as the single point of contact between our clients’ multimarket research projects and RONIN’s operational teams and fieldwork partners to ensure that our projects exceed clients’ expectations and result in fruitful and ongoing partnerships. Our approach is based on having resourceful, independent, switched-on, tenacious, problem-solving orientated and proactive members of staff, and the Project Manager role would require the successful candidate to shadow and support a more senior member of the team to quickly learn company processes and gain a strong understanding of the market research industry. Market research can be a fast-paced environment that goes from large scale straightforward studies to highly specialised boutique projects; interpersonal & organisational skills are essential to adapt around daily challenges. Based on the full range of duties the role will entail, as provided in detail under ‘Core Duties’, this Project Manager role is ideal for a bright and enthusiastic individual looking to grow and find their new challenge; RONIN has a history of strong internal progression and career development and promotes individual proactivity. CORE DUTIES • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients from the initiation of a project through its completion., • Acting as the main liaison for clients during the fieldwork phase of the project, ensuring clear and consistent communication., • Maintaining and ensuring high-quality data collection across all projects, upholding industry standards., • Identifying potential obstacles to project delivery early on or as they arise and proactively providing effective solutions., • Coordinating internal teams and departments to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met efficiently., • Managing communication and collaboration with external partners and vendors during the fieldwork stage of the project., • Delivering strong, value-added support to clients, addressing any challenges encountered during field operations., • Ensuring all client deadlines are met while keeping the project within the allocated budget., • Overseeing the testing of questionnaires and ensuring survey design follows best practices, collaborating closely with the internal scripting and data processing teams., • Ability to adapt the client objectives with our best practices and ensure projects are delivered according to the client objectives. This may mean if a client has a set way of doing a task, we find efficient ways to replicate their preferred way of working., • Handling a diverse mix of qualitative and quantitative projects, including those conducted online, via Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI), and through digital platforms. OTHER DUTIES • Participating in internal kick-off meetings with clients and internal teams to align on project objectives and expectations., • Leading internal briefings to ensure all team members are fully informed about project goals, tasks, and timelines., • Gaining a thorough understanding of sampling methods and project requirements to ensure accurate and reliable data collection., • Managing the project budget effectively, including monitoring costs and overseeing any outsourcing to stay within financial limits., • Ensuring compliance with all relevant market research quality standards and regulations throughout the project. PERSON SPECIFICATION • Relevant role specific qualifications (e.g degree in project management or business administration), • Excellent communication skills, • Strong Interpersonal skills, • Effective listener and negotiator, • Strong planning and organisational abilities, • Capability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, • Time management and prioritisation of tasks, • Ability to delegate when necessary, • Flexibility and adaptability in resolving project challenge, • Maintain excellent understanding of operational market research best practice and developments, • Good knowledge and understanding of applicable standards, codes of conduct and legislation governing the collection of data in a market research environment, including but not limited to: ISO 20252, ISO 27001, the GDPR, the TCPA, MRS, IQCS, ESOMAR, EphMRA), and the BHBIA., • Experience in building and maintaining effective working relationships, • Proven track record of successful project management experience, • Competent user of Microsoft Excel, • Ability to work well with others, • Takes ownership of tasks and responsibilities, and is accountable for their outcomes., • Ability to manage client expectations and maintain client satisfaction, • Continuous learning and professional development within the industry, • Team player, • Versatility, enthusiasm, and tenacity, • Commercial acumen – able to demonstrate previous contribution to company performance, • Professional and driven, demonstrating a keen intellectual curiosity, • Act as a role model in embodying core RONIN values and culture, • Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment, • High ethical standards and integrity in research and project management DESIRABLE SKILLS • Understanding of the requirements of International survey research and multi-language /multi-cultural best practice, local legislation and guidelines, • Good knowledge of CATI /online/ mixed methodology and new survey research best practice., • Understanding of digital recruitment and desk research capabilities, • Understanding of qualitative and quantitative methodologies and/or specific processes and requirements, • Proficiency in data collection software and tools., • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly, • Capability to manage conflicts and foster a collaborative environment, • Meticulous and detail-oriented approach to project tasks, • Ability to ensure all aspects of the project are considered and accounted for, • Openness to change and ability to adapt to new situations and environments, • Inquisitive and forward-thinking - always challenging current methods and actively looking at ways to do things more efficiently
