I'm delighted to be partnering exclusively with Andros UK, the internationally famous makers of Bonne Maman jam, to recruit a Head of HR. \n As Head of HR you will play a pivotal role, responsible for delivering a comprehensive HR service that supports managers and employees while fostering a high-performance culture. You will be part of a close knit, supportive team and operate within an autonomous environment. \n Client Details \n Andros is a family-owned food group headquartered in south-west France, with over 3.4 billion turnover and 56 production sites worldwide, with two based in the UK. Best known for brands like Bonne Maman, Andros is a leading producer of fruit-based products, chilled dairy desserts and yoghurts, combining traditional craftsmanship with industrial innovation to deliver simple, high-quality food enjoyed in more than 100 countries. \n Description \n Overview of Key Responsibilities: \n\n • Recruitment - define our recruitment strategy - job descriptions up to date - liaising with recruitment agencies & other tools - develop university contacts - coordinating interviews with stakeholders - implement test - ensure post-interview feedback is provided - induction coordination - offer letters and contracts (including interns) - track and record probation reviews\n, • Training & Development - formalise learning and development policy - internal talent spotting and succession planning - coordinate process for PDR - coordinate training.\n, • Culture - dissipate the culture throughout Andros UK (people - work space - documents)\n, • Policies & Procedures - review regularly company policies and procedures, communicate them to the business and ensure they are being enforced. Ensure all policies and procedures are legally compliant.\n, • Payroll - process monthly payroll and keep accurate records with 3rd party suppliers and in line with current legislation.\n, • Company Benefits - provide first line advice on current and existing benefits for employees and managers - negotiate terms with 3rd party suppliers.\n, • Personnel - manage employee relations, including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, sickness, retirement, redundancy, change of employment status, employee wellbeing - advise managers on the above - hold exit interviews with leavers - maintain accurate HR records - promote social events.\n, • Efficiencies - monitor monthly HR & training budget.\n\n As the Head of HR you will: \n\n • Lead and develop the HR team.\n, • Implement the department organisation and priorities (above) and optimise when needed.\n, • Collaborate with MD and Factory Manager to structure the personnel organisation.\n, • Manage and advise on the full range of employee relations matters, ensuring best practice and helping the business navigate issues effectively.\n, • Maintain and enhance relationships with trade union representatives, officials, and employee working groups.\n, • Ensure the attraction and recruitment of high-calibre staff to support operational and strategic needs.\n, • Oversee training and development initiatives.\n, • Ensure all HR policies and practices are up to date, compliant with legislation, and clearly communicated across the business.\n, • Review relevance and compliance of company policies and procedures annually.\n, • Oversee the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services for both site and head office employees.\n, • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.\n, • Produce and comment accurate labour performance reports and provide insights that support business decisions.\n, • Review regularly office systems required to conduct the above tasks.\n\n Profile \n A successful Head of HR should be: \n\n • Experienced in a Senior Head of HR role.\n, • CIPD Qualified or equivalent.\n, • Previous experience within an FMCG/Manufacturing environment or similar is essential.\n, • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a senior management team.\n, • The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion and diplomacy is essential.\n, • You should be self-motivated, capable of working autonomously and collaboratively, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.\n, • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, proven leadership capabilities, and strong knowledge of employment legislation and its application are required.\n, • Confident, professional, and motivated, with a desire to contribute positively to the growth of the company.\n\n Job Offer \n\n • Highly Competitive salary (dependant on experience)\n, • Car allowance & Bonus\n, • Company pension 10% employer contribution\n, • 25 days holiday + Bank holidays\n\n This is a full-time, site-based role in Frome, with occasion travel to the London office (Hammersmith) to support local HR needs.
