Account Manager (B2B Software) | Peterborough | £27k base, £45k OTE + 3-month guarantee A long-established UK software company is hiring an Account Manager to take ownership of an existing customer territory. Their products are used by over 22 million users in 120+ countries across education and corporate IT. This is a renewals, upsell and account development role. You'll be the named contact for an assigned book of business, with a clear remit to keep customers happy, grow the territory, and pick up new accounts handed over from the New Business team. What you'll be doing • Owning a territory of existing customers across renewals, upsells and account growth, • Building and managing a healthy pipeline in Salesforce, • Running product demos via webinar and occasionally in person, • Handling inbound enquiries and converting them into qualified opportunities, • Onboarding new accounts handed across from the New Business team, • Some experience in account management, sales, customer success or a closely related B2B role, • A track record of hitting targets and a results-oriented approach, • Strong communication skills, comfortable building relationships at all levels, • Genuine interest in technology and a willingness to grow your technical knowledge, • Self-starter who can manage their own pipeline and prioritise effectively, • £27,000 base, £45,000 OTE, • £1,000 per month guarantee for your first 3 months, • Team-based commission structure with realistic OTE from day one, • 27 days holiday plus bank holidays, • Contributory pension, EAP, free parking, • Hours: 9 to 5:30 Mon to Thu, 9 to 5 Friday Working pattern 3 days onsite in Peterborough (Tue, Wed, Thu), remote Monday and Friday.
