Sales Manager UK & I Location: London / South East (Hybrid) Sector: Power & Distribution Transformers | Data Centres Salary: Competitive + bonus + car allowance + benefits A leading transformer manufacturer is seeking a Sales Manager to drive growth across the UK&I data centre market. This role is focused on developing and managing relationships with data centre operators, developers, consultants, EPCs, and contractors across hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise projects. You will play a key role in expanding market share, identifying new opportunities, and positioning the business as a preferred transformer partner within critical infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute a sales and business development strategy for the UK data centre sector, • Identify, qualify, and pursue new project opportunities from early design through to contract award, • Build strong relationships with data centre operators, developers, consultants, EPCs, and electrical contractors, • Manage key accounts and strategic customers, ensuring long-term partnership and repeat business, • Work closely with internal engineering, tendering, and project teams to deliver competitive technical and commercial solutions, • Provide market intelligence on competitors, pricing, project pipelines, and emerging trends, • Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and networking opportunities, • Achieve agreed revenue, margin, and growth targets What Experience do you need? • Proven experience in sales or business development within the transformer, power distribution, or electrical infrastructure market, • Experience supplying into the data centre industry (hyperscale, colocation, or mission-critical environments), • Strong understanding of power infrastructure including MV/LV systems, transformers, substations, and grid connections, • Established network across data centre operators, consultants, contractors, or EPCs is highly desirable, • Commercially astute with the ability to manage complex, long sales cycles, • Comfortable engaging at both technical and senior decision-maker level, • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work autonomously What’s on Offer • Opportunity to join a growing manufacturer with a strong footprint in the data centre market, • High-profile projects across some of the UK’s most critical infrastructure developments, • Competitive salary, performance-related bonus, car allowance, and benefits, • Long-term career progression within an expanding European business
