Electrical Estimator Ware, Hertfordshire | Full-Time | Permanent £65,000 – £85,000 + Bonus + Profit Share The Opportunity We are a £10M+ turnover M&E contractor delivering electrical, mechanical, fire, security, and communications projects across the UK. With a clear growth trajectory towards £15M+, we have a strong pipeline across: • Commercial fit-outs, • Industrial & warehouse environments, • Energy & infrastructure (including substations and major schemes) We are now looking for a high-calibre Electrical Estimator to strengthen our pre-construction team. This is a commercially critical role — not just pricing electrical works but influencing how projects are won and how profit is protected. The Role You will take ownership of estimating electrical packages from initial enquiry through to tender submission. Working closely with leadership and delivery teams, you will ensure projects are: • Accurately priced, • Commercially robust, • Positioned to win You will also have visibility across wider M&E packages, ensuring electrical scope integrates effectively within the full project. Key Responsibilities • Prepare accurate, competitive, and profitable electrical estimates, • Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation, • Complete detailed labour and material take-offs, • Obtain and manage supplier and subcontractor quotations, • Produce structured cost plans and tender submissions, • Identify value engineering opportunities and commercial risks, • Support pre-construction strategy and project handover, • Coordinate with mechanical and wider project teams Projects • £100k – £2M+ electrical packages, • Infrastructure and substation works, • Large-scale warehouse and logistics developments, • Repeat works with established clients and frameworks, • We are actively pricing multiple high-value opportunities across several sectors.
