An ambitious and career-driven Part 2 Architectural Assistant is required to join a superb, medium-sized contemporary architectural practice based in a stylish Leeds City Centre studio.\n\nThis award-winning practice has developed a strong reputation for delivering striking, innovative projects across the UK. The studio works with a wide range of clients across multiple sectors, including build-to-rent high-rise developments, community projects, education, leisure, residential, mixed-use schemes, and masterplanning.\n\nAs a genuinely cross-sector practice, the business is well established, financially secure, and continuing to grow. Their modern, open-plan studio near Leeds Dock is home to a talented team of architects and designers, offering a vibrant, energetic, and supportive working environment where hard work, commitment, and quality design are genuinely recognised.\n\nCulturally, the practice offers a rewarding and flexible environment, with an understanding approach to balancing professional commitments with busy family life.\n\nThe Role\n\nThe practice is now looking to appoint a talented and motivated Part 2 Architectural Assistant to support the design and technical delivery of various multi unit build-to-rent residential development.\n\nWorking as part of a collaborative wider team, you will assist across a variety of project stages, contributing to design development, technical detailing, drawing production, consultant coordination, and project delivery. You will gain exposure to large-scale residential schemes and work closely with experienced Architects and senior team members throughout the process.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified or experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant looking to further develop their technical and professional experience within a highly respected architectural practice.\n\nThe practice is 100% Revit-based, so strong Revit and BIM capability is highly desirable. You will also need a proactive attitude, good communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for high-quality design.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\nThe successful Part 2 Architectural Assistant will ideally have:\n\nRIBA Part 2 qualification in Architecture\n\t\nPrevious UK practice experience, ideally within residential, mixed-use, commercial, or education sectors\n\t\nStrong design flair and a passion for contemporary architecture\n\t\nGood technical understanding, including knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning processes\n\t\nRevit proficiency and an understanding of BIM workflows\n\t\nExcellent presentation, drawing, and visualisation skills\n\t\nA collaborative and proactive approach to teamwork\n\t\nStrong communication skills and the confidence to liaise with colleagues, consultants, and clients where required\n\t\nThe ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines\n\t\nA genuine ambition to continue progressing professionally toward Part 3 qualification and ARB registration\n\nWhy Join?\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive and ambitious architectural practice with a strong pipeline of work and a supportive studio culture.\n\nBenefits include:\n\nSalary of £28,000 – £32,000, depending on experience\n\t\nFlexible working hours\n\t\nHybrid working policy, with most of the team working 3–4 days per week in the office and the remainder from home\n\t\nModern, open-plan Leeds City Centre studio\n\t\nOpportunity to work on a landmark local residential project\n\t\nSupportive, talented, and design-led team environment\n\t\nGenuine mentoring and career progression opportunities toward Part 3 qualification\n\t\nExposure to a wide variety of sectors and project work\n\nThis role would suit an ambitious Part 2 Architectural Assistant who is eager to develop their career within a creative and forward-thinking architectural practice.\n\nTo apply, please follow the link or contact James Jackson at Conrad Consulting for further information
