We are a growing food wholesaler seeking a Quality Assurance Technologist to help maintain our high standards in food safety and quality. Duties As a Quality Assurance Technologist, you’ll help maintain product quality, safety, and compliance with BRC and customer standards across all operations. Monitor hygiene, housekeeping, food safety, allergen control, and traceability across the facility Conduct internal audits (glass & plastic, blades, hygiene, GMP), reporting non-conformances Investigate product or supplier issues, assist in managing customer complaints Organise and support product testing, lab work, and taste panels Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all products meet required specifications Label review and approval — candidates must have previous experience with food labelling Experience A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field is essential. Proven experience in a food manufacturing environment is essential Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively. Familiarity with HACCP principles and quality assurance practices is crucial for success in this role. Excellent communication skills to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
