Location: Flexible / UK (open to candidates across regions) Reporting to: Sales Director About us Kumho Tyre UK is a leading tyre supplier dedicated to supporting our customers with top-quality products and outstanding service. We’re growing our sales team and looking for a driven Area Sales Manager to join us and help expand our market share. Role overview We’re seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager with a strong background in field sales within the tyre industry. This role is open to candidates across the UK. We want to see the talent out there and will consider applications from all areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing customer relationships, growing sales, and delivering KPI targets across an assigned territory. Key responsibilities • Identify and develop new business opportunities across your territory, targeting dealers, retailers and fleet customers., • Achieve field sales and margin targets in line with Kumho’s sales policies., • Ensure commercial coverage of accounts supplied by the local warehouse and grow existing customers., • Work with the Sales Director on account development and, when directed, manage Key Accounts., • Keep CRM up to date and provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports; represent the company at customer meetings and industry events. Person specification / Requirements • Minimum 5 years’ field sales experience within the tyre industry (essential)., • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets., • Self-motivated, ambitious and results-oriented with a strong desire to succeed., • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills., • Confident working independently and managing your own diary., • Valid UK driving licence (essential)., • Proficient with MS Office and comfortable using CRM systems.
