Overview Are you ready to lead and inspire a team of Loss Adjusters while delivering exceptional claims management services? As a Field Team Manager – Loss Adjusting Services, you will oversee the performance of a team of fee-earning Loss Adjusters within a designated geographical area. This role combines leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on claims management to ensure outstanding service delivery to clients, brokers, policyholders, and assessors. You will manage performance against key KPIs, provide technical guidance, review reports, and foster strong relationships with stakeholders through effective communication. This is a remote working role, with travel as and when required. How you'll make an impact Performance Management • Lead and manage a team of Loss Adjusters, ensuring delivery against KPIs such as fee income, service quality, and operational efficiency., • Conduct regular one-to-one meetings, performance reviews, and appraisals to support team development and address performance gaps., • Collaborate with the UK Technical Claims Manager to provide coaching, training, and development opportunities., • Personally manage a portfolio of claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution in line with company standards., • Provide technical guidance on claims, policy interpretation, and loss adjustment processes., • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and point of contact., • Review and approve reports prepared by team members, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and client standards., • Ensure the team delivers a quality service to clients and policyholders, adhering to service level agreements (SLAs)., • Monitor and manage team workloads, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely claim resolution., • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements., • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, promoting Gallagher’s core values., • Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a customer-focused approach. Skills and Competencies • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team., • In-depth technical knowledge of loss adjusting, claims handling, and insurance principles., • Proven ability to manage performance against KPIs and deliver results., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong stakeholder relationships., • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail., • CILA and/or CII qualifications are advantageous but not essential., • Vast experience in loss adjusting or claims management, ideally with team leadership experience., • Proven track record of managing claims and delivering results in a fee-earning environment., • Experience in preparing, reviewing, and approving loss adjuster reports., • Eligible to work in the UK #LI-PH1 Compensation and benefits On top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.
