As part of this growth, were looking for a reliable and detail-focused Weighbridge Operator to join our Chesterfield team. This is a vital operational role where accuracy, organisation and confidence are key. The Role As Weighbridge Operator, you will manage all vehicle movements on and off site, ensuring loads are processed safely and in line with legal and site requirements. Your responsibilities will include: Operating the weighbridge system Recording vehicle weights and load details Checking documentation and compliance paperwork Managing Waste Transfer Notes and WM3 classifications Maintaining accurate digital records Ensuring drivers adhere to site safety rules Supporting general administrative site duties Youll be the communication link between drivers, customers and the site team, helping to always maintain efficiency and compliance. What Were Looking For Strong attention to detail Good computer literacy Clear communication skills Professional and confident manner Strong Health & Safety awareness Organised and calm under pressure Experience in quarry, waste, recycling or industrial environments is advantageous but not essential, training can be provided for the right candidate. The Role Youll play a key part in the day-to-day running of site operations, ensuring materials are moved safely and efficiently while maintaining high Health & Safety standards.
