Business Analyst Location: Horsham (Hybrid)Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE MUST HAVE VALID RIGHT TO WORK IN UK WITHOUT EVER NEEDING SPONSORSHIP Our client is a well-established technology business with a strong reputation for delivering innovative software and digital solutions across a diverse customer base. Due to continued growth and investment in internal systems, they are looking to appoint a Software Business Analyst to support a range of business-critical projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and fast-paced SME environment where you'll play a key role in bridging the gap between business operations and technical delivery teams. The Role As a Software Business Analyst, you'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements, improve processes, and support the successful delivery of software and systems projects. Responsibilities will include: • Gathering, documenting and validating business requirements, • Translating business needs into user stories, functional specifications and acceptance criteria, • Facilitating workshops and engaging with stakeholders across multiple departments, • Identifying process improvement and automation opportunities, • Supporting backlog management, prioritisation and UAT activities, • Working alongside development teams to ensure solutions align with business requirements, • Producing process maps, workflows, documentation and decision logs, • Supporting systems integrations and data flow initiatives across the wider business Skills & Experience We're keen to speak with candidates who have: • Previous experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or similar role, • Experience working across software, systems or digital transformation projects, • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, • Knowledge of Agile or hybrid software delivery methodologies, • Experience creating user stories, process maps and business documentation, • Exposure to SQL, data management or reporting tools, • An understanding of APIs, systems integrations and cloud-based platforms, • Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps or similar project management tools What's on Offer? • Hybrid working, • Exposure to a broad range of software and technology projects, • High levels of autonomy and responsibility, • Opportunity to influence systems, processes and business improvements, • Supportive and collaborative team environment, • Long-term progression opportunities within a growing business If you're a pragmatic Business Analyst who enjoys working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and wants to make a genuine impact within a growing organisation, we'd love to hear from you.
