Integrity Education Solutions is proud to be supporting a highly specialist, UK-based Online National School delivering exceptional education for neurodiverse children and young people aged 7–19. This provision supports pupils with complex SEND profiles, including autism, SEMH needs, and associated conditions. Many learners have experienced disrupted educational journeys, including multiple placement breakdowns and emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA), often alongside significant trauma and extended periods out of formal education. The school delivers a highly personalised, therapeutic education model, combining bespoke academic pathways with integrated clinical and pastoral support. Learning programmes are designed around individual developmental milestones, ensuring each pupil receives a carefully structured, holistic approach to re-engagement and progress. Due to continued growth, the school is seeking to appoint an experienced and values-led Headteacher to lead its online provision from September 2026. The Role This is a pivotal leadership opportunity to shape and lead a specialist online school environment, ensuring high-quality education, strong safeguarding practice, and outstanding outcomes for a highly vulnerable cohort. • Provide clear, credible, and values-led leadership for the Online School, • Ensure full compliance with DfE requirements, Ofsted expectations, and safeguarding frameworks, • Lead the development and delivery of high-quality online pedagogy tailored to complex learners, • Ensure teaching approaches prioritise engagement, regulation, and psychological safety, • Utilise engagement data and learning analytics to inform intervention and improvement strategies, • Work collaboratively with Clinical Services to embed therapeutic approaches within education, • Champion trauma-informed, attachment-aware and co-regulation strategies across the provision, • Ensure provision fully meets the needs of pupils with SEND, EHCPs and complex mental health profiles, • Oversee personalised pathways, including assess–plan–do–review cycles and reintegration strategies, • Build strong, trusting relationships with families and local authorities, • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of teachers, mentors, and therapeutic practitioners, • Lead the day-to-day running of the Online School, • Work closely with senior leaders on capacity planning and sustainable growth, • Ensure expansion is aligned with quality, safeguarding, and pupil outcomes, • Implement strategies to improve engagement, retention, and long-term success for pupils About You • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS), • Proven senior leadership experience within SEND, alternative provision, or specialist settings, • NPQH, NPQEL or relevant postgraduate qualification (Desirable) Knowledge & Experience • Strong understanding of online education and digital learning environments, • Expertise in trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches, • Secure knowledge of SEND Code of Practice, safeguarding, and statutory frameworks, • Experience working with pupils with complex needs, including EBSA and SEMH If you are interested in this Headteacher opportunity, contact Kenny Fraser at Integrity Education Solutions.
