We are looking for a water industry professional who is keen to work, learn and develop in the process commissioning of new wastewater processes and equipment. You'll work as part of the AMP8 Delivery Programme through the full project lifecycle, from design to construction, commissioning and handover. For this role, you'll have: • quantity surveying experience in the construction industry, preferably with the use of the NEC Suite of Contracts, • completed a degree in quantity surveying or a similar qualification, • membership of the RICS/ICES is also desirable but not essential, • experience with change and risk management, as well as tender and final account negotiation, • good people skills, including leadership skills and the ability to form professional relationships with others, • good computer skills and a sound knowledge of health and safety related to the role. The Commercial Manager is responsible for driving performance for a specific geographic area as part of the Field & Technical team driving total territory management to deliver exceptional execution, delivering On Trade share, Diageo NSV and effective execution. They lead a sales and activation team to deliver executional success by providing the strategic direction across total territory, using market knowledge and category data to build plans to win share and deliver exponential on-trade P&L growth. They are the sole leader for the designated area, fully accountable for the region's performance, reporting into the Head of Field & Technical. • Accountable for overall regional Value Share & NSV outcomes. Delivered through distribution and execution metrics in month, quarter and year.
