Job Purpose\n\nThis role is responsible for leading the management, analysis, and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in line with a large, contract‑driven operational environment. The Performance Manager will streamline and formalise processes to improve workflow efficiency, ensure contractual and legal compliance, and support continuous improvement across quality, environmental, and health & safety standards.\n\nWorking closely with senior managers, operational teams, and external stakeholders, the role plays a key part in ensuring performance data is accurate, meaningful, and clearly communicated.\n\nKey Accountabilities\n\n(Reporting to the Business Manager)\n\nKPI Management & Reporting\n\nAnalyse, manage, and report on KPIs using performance dashboards\nProduce clear performance analysis, highlighting trends, risks, and improvement areas\nCollate and submit monthly, quarterly, annual, and business continuity reports in line with contractual requirements\n\nProcess & Systems Improvement\n\nImplement and maintain monitoring systems for performance targets through process mapping\nDevelop, formalise, and communicate new or improved operational processes\nSupport the introduction, monitoring, and review of new systems and tools\n\nCompliance & Audit\n\nMaintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) through robust document control\nCoordinate and support internal and external audit programmes\nEnsure operational compliance with legal obligations and contract requirements\nManage and report non‑compliance issues, including performance adjustments and financial penalties\n\nPerformance Strategy & Continuous Improvement\n\nSupport the development and delivery of performance improvement strategies\nCarry out root cause analysis and support corrective action plans\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives across the business\n\nCommunication & Engagement\n\nCommunicate performance information clearly through reports, presentations, and training sessions\nEngage positively with teams to support understanding of performance expectations\nContribute to a collaborative and high‑performing working environment\n\nMeetings & Stakeholder Engagement\n\nAttend and facilitate performance and compliance meetings\nAct as a key point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders on performance matters\nSupport discussions relating to non‑compliance and contractual performance\n\nHealth & Safety\n\nCompile, analyse, and report health & safety statistics and exposure data\n\nOther Duties\n\nCarry out any additional reasonable tasks as requested to support the needs of the business\n\nEssential Skills & Experience\n\nProven experience in performance management, KPI analysis, and reporting within a complex operational environment\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights\nExperience supporting audits, compliance, and risk management processes\nStrong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio\nExperience using business intelligence tools such as Power BI\nAbility to implement and improve monitoring systems and processes\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nExperience preparing and delivering reports, presentations, and training sessions\nStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities\n\nPersonal Qualities\n\nHighly organised, proactive, and detail‑focused\nConfident working with senior stakeholders and external partners\nComfortable leading or facilitating meetings\nAble to work independently and collaboratively\nProfessional, reliable, and trustworthy\nFlexible and committed to continuous improvement and development\n\nDesirable Experience\n\nExperience with performance dashboard systems\nExposure to public sector, infrastructure, or contract‑based environments\nExperience managing IMS systems and first, second, and third‑party audits\nFull UK driving licence\n\nOffice Angels is an employment agency and business.
