The Role As the Safeguarding Administrator, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and effective running of the school’s safeguarding processes. Your responsibilities will include: • Managing the safeguarding inbox, ensuring timely responses and clear communication, • Overseeing the school’s filtering and monitoring system, allocating detentions when required, • Attending safeguarding meetings, including TAFs and professional strategy discussions, • Conducting pastoral check-ins with vulnerable students, • Making external agency referrals under the direction of the DSL, • Coordinating social worker visits and supporting wider pastoral operations, • Assisting with morning registration and supporting late-arriving students This role offers valuable exposure to safeguarding best practice, making it ideal for individuals seeking career progression in education, pastoral care, or safeguarding leadership.
