A specialist SEN provision in the West Drayton/Harmondsworth area is seeking a committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their growing team. The setting supports pupils with Autism, severe learning difficulties and complex communication needs, offering a calm, therapeutic and highly personalised learning environment. Set on a large, green, environmentally friendly site, the school benefits from sensory rooms, therapy spaces and extensive outdoor learning areas. The team is warm, collaborative and deeply child‑centred — every decision is made with pupils’ wellbeing and progress in mind. What Will You Be Doing? • Leading small‑group and 1:1 learning sessions, • Delivering planned lessons and activities under teacher direction, • Supporting pupils with ASC and complex needs using structured SEN strategies, • Using tools such as visual timetables, sensory integration and augmentative communication, • Helping pupils regulate, communicate and engage in learning, • Working closely with teachers and therapists to meet EHCP targets, • Contributing to planning, assessment and classroom organisation Does This Sound Like You? • Do you hold HLTA status or a Level 4 qualification?, • Or do you have strong SEN Learning Support experience and feel ready to step up?, • Have you supported children with ASC or severe learning difficulties before?, • Are you confident leading learning activities and supporting behaviour calmly and consistently?, • Do you have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service?
