We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Shield Vets on a part-time basis, working 26.5 hours a week. We currently have 8 RVNs across our 2 practices (working a mixture of full time and part time). We also have 1 SVN. Our team covers a range from Student Veterinary Nurse to a Registered Veterinary Nurse with more than 15 years experience, and a vet team with graduates to vets with over 30 years of experience. We are supported by an excellent receptionist team. Our 2 practices are a 10-15 minute drive apart and teams work across both practices. We are based on the South coast with easy access to the New Forest and good road/rail links to London. How You’ll Make a Difference As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice. The shifts are Monday, Thursday and Friday. Shifts are shared between 7.45am-4.45pm, 8am-5pm, and 10am-7pm.
