About the Role • Lead, train and develop a skilled team of operators to deliver consistent, high-quality powder-coated finishes., • Oversee all aspects of the coating line — pre-treatment, spraying, oven curing, inspection and packaging., • Monitor output and quality, quickly identifying and correcting any coating defects or process deviations., • Manage production KPIs including OEE, efficiency, utilisation, down-time, re-work and NCRs., • Drive continuous improvement to increase efficiency, reduce waste and optimise production flow., • Coordinate with maintenance and engineering to ensure the plant remains in reliable, efficient working order., • Conduct and record daily team meetings, training, and toolbox talks, building a positive, safety-first culture., • Control and report on powder, chemical and consumable stock levels., • Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental regulations, including COSHH., • 3+ years’ hands-on experience in powder coating and finishing operations (ideally with team leadership or supervisory experience)., • Deep technical understanding of coating processes, curing cycles, and defect troubleshooting., • Competence in quality control and testing — film thickness, adhesion, cure verification and visual inspection., • Solid mechanical awareness and the discipline needed to maintain a spray line in efficient working order., • Ability to read engineering drawings and apply confident maths and measurement skills., • Excellent communication and coaching skills — able to motivate and develop others. Experience working within ISO 9001 / 14001 environments. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing or 5S principles. Familiarity with automated or multi-stage powder-coating systems. Why Join Harrod UK? My client is large energy provider operating all across Europe. They are in need of various HSE professionals - one of each HSE Manager, HSE Advisor and HSE Specialist. Main responsibilities: Lead / assist for HSE matters to support the project team through development and construction phases Act as the HSE professional responsible for providing independent, expert, and professional advice and guidance to the offshore project relating to specialist HSE topics to the project team on all construction health, safety and environmental issues, actively participate in and promoting a high standard of health, safety, and environmental awareness and culture To develop and produce detailed policies and procedures for all corporate Health and Safety Providing analysis on HSE matters relating to the capital project delivery Undertake research analysis and benchmarking for HS issues in the project delivery communicating findings and recommendations within clear, coherent and concise reports. Individual responsibilities: Build strong working relationships (both internally and externally); Ensure that all HSE team professionals are aware and trained to ensure compliance Maintain a professional understanding and awareness of all current legislation, best practice, and statutory requirements, and keep abreast of all new and forthcoming changes, ensuring full team and business readiness in advance Support offshore operations teams with specialist HSE support relating to offshore wind projects Leading on HSE culture within the projects to ensure there is visible HSE leadership and commitment from within the teams, to develop and promote an excellent HSE culture. Ensure the incident notification process is well established as part of the project set up and incidents are reported in line with project and client requirements. Communication profile: Establish effective communication with employees, business partners, line management, HSE Offshore team and other relevant teams across functions and technologies in order to establish collaboration and continuously improve the HSE awareness and culture. Establish effective communication with contractors, manufacturers and elements of the supply chain. Establish effective communication between project stakeholders internal and external HSE Support for the project team in planning, preparation, execution and delivery of specialist projects Collaboration with other parties relevant to HSE and offshore, where applicable. Required qualifications & competencies: Degree in Health and Safety related discipline, engineering / safety engineering or similar. Qualification in a relevant environmental management discipline such as IEMA or Dégrée in Environmental Management Hold a relevant audit qualification such as OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001/ISO 14001 internal auditor, along with an Incident root cause analysis qualification. They should also be a member of a relevant industry professional body (i.e. IOSH, IIRSM, CIEH, BOHS) GWO certification and ability to work offshore. Must have valid LTD to be able to work in the UK.
