The Role: - Oversee all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including food production, customer service, and staff management. - Develop and implement strategies to achieve business goals and increase profitability. - Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation. - Manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs to maximize profitability. - Train and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service. - Create and maintain a positive work environment, fostering teamwork and employee development. - Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner, striving to resolve issues to the satisfaction of all parties involved. - Ensure consistent quality of food preparation and service. - Monitor customer feedback and reviews, making necessary adjustments to improve overall guest satisfaction. Person Specification: - Ideally 4+ years’ experience in a similar role. No experience in Japanese dining is required as we will give you all the training you need. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, employees, and suppliers. - In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. - Proven track record of achieving business targets and driving revenue growth. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. - Technical prowess – knowledge of Lightspeed and MarketMan systems is an advantage.
