We’re looking for a Remote Operations Director (Virtual COO) to run process and accountability across our manufacturing, dispatch, and planning operations. You’ll manage through live data and dashboards, not meetings — ensuring production, logistics, and profit performance are tracked and corrected daily. This role suits a commercially focused operator who understands manufacturing flow, numbers, and people. We now have an exciting opportunity for an Agri Project Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of projects across our Agri Pork operations — shaping the future of our farming infrastructure, performance and sustainability. About the Role As Agri Project Manager , you will take ownership of key capital and operational initiatives across our farming network — including new-build site development, infrastructure upgrades, productivity improvements, welfare and sustainability projects, and supply-chain optimisation. Working from our Stradbroke base (with regular site travel), you will collaborate with teams across engineering, farm operations, procurement, welfare, sustainability, finance and external partners to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with our high welfare and environmental standards. This role plays a pivotal part in enabling Pilgrim's Europe to deliver future-ready farming operations that meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements and our long-term strategic ambitions. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end delivery of Agri Pork projects, defining scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks and success criteria. Manage capital investment projects across farm sites — including new builds, refurbishments and infrastructure improvements — ensuring compliance with welfare, environmental and H&S regulations. Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, agri operations, procurement, welfare, sustainability, external contractors) to ensure smooth, timely execution. Monitor and report on project progress, risks, costs and quality to senior stakeholders. Build strong partnerships with farm partners and contractors, ensuring clarity on expectations, standards and delivery timelines. Support the development of business cases, investment appraisals and ROI analyses. Conduct post-project reviews to drive continuous improvement and implement learnings. Ensure alignment of all projects with Pilgrim's Europe's strategic goals: welfare leadership, sustainability, productivity, operational excellence and supply resilience. Skills & Experience Essential: Significant project management experience within agribusiness, farming operations, infrastructure or capital project delivery. Understanding of agricultural or farming environments — ideally pig/pork operations. Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, risks and timelines simultaneously. Knowledge of welfare, environmental, and H&S compliance within agricultural settings. Analytical thinker with strong commercial awareness. Proficient in project management tools and Microsoft Office. Degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Project Management, Business or a related discipline. Desirable: Project management qualification (PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent). Experience working within an integrated farming business. Understanding of sustainability and ESG within agriculture. Knowledge of farm infrastructure (housing, ventilation, feeders, environmental systems). Experience managing multi-site or multi-country projects. A client of ours are looking for an Electrical Site Supervisor to assist the Site Manager with the electrical works on a 400kV substation project. This includes interfacing with and monitoring any subcontractors whilst feeding back the necessary information to the Site Manager. Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance to CDM regulations on site. - Ensure all setting to work procedures are followed - Ensure works are delivered to a programme whilst maintaining the highest standards of health and safety - Produce reports and provide information in a timely manner - To provide sufficient and timely supervision and guidance to ensure staff and sub-contractors are performing to agreed production levels - To maintain own levels of skill and knowledge to do the job effectively - To perform other duties as directed by your line manager or management team - To comply with the relevant Company HSQE and welfare policy provisions - To support clients and ensure all agreed KPIs are met or exceeded - Promote best practice, capture best practice and ensure it is fed-back into the business. - Lead by example in health, safety, quality & environmental management. - Ensure quality standards are met and maintained throughout the project and assist with the generation of as built drawings - Assist with the implementation of Safe Systems of Work including issuing Permits to Dig - Set others to work and monitor throughout the task / project Minimum Requirements: - Full UK driving licence - National Grid Competent Person NSI 6 & 8 - IOSHH Managing Safely or SMSTS or SSSTS - CSCS or CCNSG Safety Passport - Minimum 5 years' experience in the T&D industry, preferably on National Grid sites - Relevant previous experience at a supervisory level Desirable: - HNC / HND in Electrical Engineering - Formal Electrical training - Impressed Voltage training - IOSH environmental or equivalent - HSG47 Please click here to find out more about our Key Information Documents.
