Location: Llansamlet, Swansea | Full-time | Hands-on operational role | Competitive salary & benefits \n \n Curveball is a Swansea-based multi-channel business spanning wholesale, e-commerce/retail, marketplaces, collectables and games publishing. We are looking for a commercially minded Transport Co-ordinator to own our UK/international transport network. The role is currently at Llansamlet, Swansea and may relocate to another South Wales site. This is not simply booking administration: own carrier relationships and exceptions, understand import/export requirements and balance service, cost, reliability and compliance. \n \n The role \n • Plan, select and book UK/international inbound and outbound pallet, parcel, freight and container movements using the right mode, service and cost option. \n • Track consignments through to successful delivery and take ownership of delays, failed collections, losses, damage and carrier claims. \n • Control freight cost and carrier performance: check invoices, recover discrepancies, maintain reliable cost records and challenge recurring service failures using evidence. \n • Own imports/exports through to clearance and delivery, ensuring Incoterms, commodity/HS codes, customs information, licences/restrictions and documentation are accurate; use Finance/specialist advisers where required. \n • Maintain the shipment, packaging and supplier evidence needed to support PPT, EPR and relevant PPWR fact-finding/reporting, working with the Warehouse Operations Manager, Purchasing and Finance to resolve gaps. \n • Work with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse and Finance to resolve transport/customs issues and prepare landed-cost estimates/actuals for major inbound shipments. \n About you \n • Minimum two years' practical transport/logistics experience, including UK imports/exports and work with freight forwarders/customs agents. \n • Prior exposure to packaging/environmental compliance reporting or data collection is important; direct PPT, EPR and/or PPWR experience is strongly advantageous. \n • Working knowledge of Incoterms 2020, commodity/HS codes and standard import/export documentation, with awareness of customs valuation, duty/import VAT and when specialist advice is needed. \n • Strong organisational skills and confidence using ERP/WMS systems, Microsoft Office and operational data to manage multiple live priorities, exceptions and deadlines. \n • Commercial awareness, curiosity and initiative: able to balance service, reliability and cost, challenge existing arrangements and follow material issues through to resolution. \n • Strong communication and relationship-management skills with carriers, suppliers and internal teams, plus excellent attention to detail. \n \n Why join Curveball \n The role has genuine ownership of transport service, cost and carrier performance rather than simply processing bookings. You will have scope to challenge how we work, improve the carrier network and use data to make better decisions, while working closely with the Warehouse Operations Manager and commercial teams. \n \n How to apply \n Apply through LinkedIn using the Apply button. Applications will be reviewed as they are received. \n \n Closing date: 5.00pm Monday 28 September 2026. \n We may close the vacancy earlier if we receive sufficient suitable applications. \n \n Package: Competitive salary + annual bonus + 33 days' leave (including bank holidays and birthday leave) + Medicash + Death in Service + workplace pension. \n
