Job Title: School Attendance & Admissions Officer Location: Haringey and surrounding North London areas Salary: £16 – £18 per hour (depending on experience) Start Date: ASAP Contract: Flexible Hours Settings: Primary, Secondary & SEN Schools Company: Complete Classroom Services About the Role Are you a detail-oriented and organised administrator with experience using school databases such as SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom? Complete Classroom Services is recruiting a School Attendance & Admissions Officer to support busy and welcoming school offices across Haringey and the surrounding North London areas. This role is perfect for someone with strong administrative and data management skills who enjoys working in an educational environment and understands the importance of attendance tracking and pupil admissions. We have immediate start opportunities available, with flexible hours and both short-term and long-term placements. Your Responsibilities Will Include • Managing and maintaining accurate attendance records using SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom., • Following up on student absences, liaising with parents, carers, and external agencies where required., • Supporting the pupil admissions process, including applications, enrolments, and student leavers., • Maintaining and updating pupil data in line with GDPR and safeguarding policies., • Preparing and analysing attendance reports for senior leadership and local authority submissions., • Handling front-of-house duties, providing a warm and professional welcome to visitors and parents., • Assisting with general administrative duties such as filing, correspondence, and communication management., • Working closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and leadership to promote excellent attendance and compliance. The Ideal Candidate Will Have • Previous school office experience, ideally within attendance or admissions., • Working knowledge of SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom., • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy., • Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills., • Ability to prioritise workload and multitask in a busy school environment., • A professional, proactive, and discreet approach., • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through us).
