We are currently recruiting for a EC&I Department Head on behalf of our internationally operating client within the Testing, Inspection & Certification sector. The suitable person must be a graduate Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer, chartered with a minimum of 10 years experience. This role will also be responsible for supporting the commercial function of the business, being comfortable being in front of clients and developing proposals. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare scopes of work and estimates to support proposals., • Assist in preparing project documents including scopes, schedules and reports., • Deliver the EC&I engineering design scope to budgets and programes., • Co-ordinate/liaise with EC&I and other Engineering disciplines/client/package vendors., • Design authority for all EC&I packages., • Prepare, check and/or approve design calculations, specifications, data sheets, reports, scope of work and drawings to British/International Standards and Codes of Practice., • Design, develop, review and approve electrical and controls (IEC) engineering drawings, specifications and documents in line with national and international standards., • Conduct electrical design calculations and approve calculations conducted by others including earthing, cable sizing, Short Circuit Calculation, Cantilever strength calculation, Battery Sizing calculations, voltage drop, lighting levels, cable tray fill and heat tracing etc., • Prepare and review datasheets and/or procurement packages for electrical equipment., • Preparation of key engineering design documents including SLD’s, Schematic Diagrams, Cable Schedules and Layout Plans., • Liaise with vendors, select and oversee purchase of EC&I equipment & components., • Monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and client standards., • Provide specialist design input to 3D models., • Prepare Technical Analysis of proposals provided by equipment manufacturers and contractors., • Interpret vendor and other discipline drawings/information., • Attend and participate in safety reviews, risk reviews, planning reviews, model reviews and constructability reviews., • Manage conflicting priorities among simultaneous projects., • Identify and raise scope changes., • Comply with Company Quality Manager Systems., • Other professional duties as reasonably required. Key Requirements: • Background in Heavy Engineering/Chemical/Petrochemical/Oil & Gas Industries preferred., • Chartered Engineer required, • Minimum of 10 years of EC&I experience, preferably in oil & gas, chemicals and/or other high hazard process industries., • Appropriate Technical Engineering Degree, • Knowledge of regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry standard practices., • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment., • Ability to allocate work appropriately to design staff and monitor progress to meet project needs., • Ability to work in both design office and operating plant environments., • Comfortable dealing directly with both Clients and Vendors at all levels., • Knowledge of ATEX and equipment for electrically hazardous areas., • Knowledge or experience of Functional Safety, preferably holding a suitable Functional Safety qualification., • Expertise using MS office suite and knowledge of AutoCAD., • Experience in the use of AVEVA E3D., • Experience in the design of HV and LV Power distribution systems, LHV/LV Switchgear Panels and MCC’s., • Experience in Relay Coordination, Load Flow, Short Circuit and Motor start studies., • Exposure to IEC, IEEE, IS, CBIP & ANSI Standards., • Proficiency in AUTOCAD, DIALUX, CG LUX Software.

Outbound SDR - B2B SaaS £30-35k base + uncapped commission Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days WFH | Teesside We’re partnering with a fast-scaling B2B SaaS business in the iGaming space to hire their first dedicated Outbound SDR. This is high-quality, revenue-driving outbound - not call-centre sales, and not a junior admin role. The focus is strategic outbound into mid-market and enterprise accounts, using smart targeting and strong commercial messaging. The Role: You’ll be responsible for booking 25+ qualified demos per month with senior decision-makers at Tier 1 and Tier 2 online casino and sportsbook operators, including CMOs, Heads of Acquisition and Heads of Growth. Outbound is a core growth engine for the business. You’ll sit close to the founder and commercial leadership, with real influence over messaging, positioning and approach. This is a true B2B SaaS sales role with clear revenue impact. What You’ll Be Doing You’ll take ownership of outbound activity, including: • Running targeted outbound across LinkedIn and email, • Researching and prioritising high-value B2B SaaS accounts (£25k+ ACV), • Writing intelligent, personalised outreach (no generic templates), • Handling objections and progressing commercial conversations, • Booking 25+ qualified demos per month, with scope to increase, • Keeping CRM data clean, structured and commercially useful, • Sharing market insight to improve messaging and conversion Who This Role Is For This role suits someone who: • Enjoys outbound and thrives in a target-driven environment, • Understands B2B SaaS sales cycles and qualification, • Writes strong, commercially aware outreach, • Wants ownership and autonomy, not micromanagement, • Is confident speaking with senior stakeholders, • Learns fast and continuously improves performance Experience & Background We’re focused on outcomes rather than job titles. Ideally, you’ll have: • 1-2+ years’ experience in outbound SDR / BDR roles (B2B SaaS), • A proven track record of hitting or exceeding demo targets, • Experience selling into mid-market or higher-value deals (£15k+ ACV), • Bonus experience in iGaming, fintech, payments, martech or similar sectors This Role Is Not For You If You: • Need constant hand-holding or close supervision, • Want a low-pressure or “comfortable” role, • Prefer volume over quality, • Are uncomfortable with rejection or targets, • Don’t enjoy outbound prospecting Location & Working Pattern: Hybrid role based in Teesside The team values in-person collaboration and expects regular office presence, while maintaining flexibility.
