Youll play a pivotal role in designing and developing power conversion products and work on real-world challenges in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment with travel opportunities. About the Role • Lead development of innovative AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies, • Simulate and design switching converters using tools like Mathcad, Simplis, SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, • Collaborate closely with mechanical, controls, EMI, and layout teams, • Prepare schematic designs, parts lists, and oversee prototyping and testing, • Support international engineering activities across a global network, • A degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, • Experience in power electronics, including semiconductors, magnetics, and control theory, • Hands-on knowledge of LLC, phase-shift converters, active PFC, • Proficient with lab tools (oscilloscopes, ACDC and DCDC loads), CAD software, and structured design processes, • Familiar with PCB layout and purchasing, • Experience in EMC compliance Glasgow offers the perfect mix of career opportunity and quality of life.
