The MPGS provides professional soldiers to meet armed security requirements at Royal Navy, Army, RAF and other MOD bases across the UK Mainland. Our primary role is to counter the terrorist threat posed to military bases within the UK. Responsibilities Security incident management – such as suspicious packages, bomb threats, protests, etc. Patrolling site perimeters – taking necessary action to preserve perimeter security.
