We're currently searching for a highly skilled Information Governance Manager to join and support Sky's Data Protection team. This position reports directly to Group Head of Privacy Operations & Data Protection Officer. The successful candidate will manage and oversee the information governance and information management functions within the firm. This position requires a strong understanding of legal operations, compliance requirements, and data management best practices. The Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure management, security, and accessibility of firm's information and records. What You'll Do: • Develop and execute an information governance strategy and data privacy policies. Will also identify risks and opportunities associated with information management and propose innovative solutions., • Establish and maintain a robust records management program, including the creation, classification, retention, retrieval, and disposal of records., • Collaborate with the firm's IT and cybersecurity teams to develop and enforce data privacy and security protocols., • Monitor regulatory changes and industry standards. Also ensure the firm's practices align with legal and ethical requirements., • Assess, select, and implement appropriate systems to support information governance and records management activities., • Coordinate the transfer of information in or out of the firm in compliance with Firm policies. When necessary, ensure the proper execution of destruction orders., • Implement supporting protocols and processes to ensure statutory, regulatory, ethical and privacy requirements are met for the management of physical and electronic information., • Create/enhance the Firm's information governance policies, including but not limited to retention and disposal, data sharing, records management, archiving data, and data privacy., • Analyze client audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement and maintenance in the information governance framework Data Privacy and Security., • Develop the Firm's data privacy framework to align with emerging domestic and international data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, SEC Regs S-P & S-ID)What You'll Bring:, • Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills, • Ability to handle with a heavy workload, • Ability to prioritise, • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, trust and credibility, • Ability to work efficiently and calmly at all times under pressure, • Ability to act as first point of contact, • Education: Bachelor's Degree Required., • Experience: Demonstrated ability to design and implement enterprise-wide information governance frameworks, including data lifecycle management and retention policies with proven experience leading governance initiatives across multiple business units and systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards., • Strong track record of influencing senior stakeholders and embedding governance practices into organizational culture., • Advanced knowledge of information governance principles, metadata management, and data quality frameworks, with practical application in complex environments., • Understanding of Data Governance, Data Protection & Privacy, Litigation scenarios and Data Minimisation.Team Overview: Legal As a team, we pursue the highest standards and demonstrate commitment, integrity and judgement. The Assistant Manager is responsible for coordinating and delivering the leasing and reservations activities and assisting the Community Manager in the day to day management of this portfolio to achieve budgeted revenue, occupancy priorities, resident retention and leasing goals and objectives. Key Role Responsibilities Acts as a role model at all times by demonstrating the core values. Responsible for viewing activities ensuring that the Property meets the required Company standards, follow up calls are carried out and feedback is received following all viewings. Actively participates in the leasing process by generating and monitoring traffic, qualifying prospects, preparing tenancy documentation, and completing move-in/move-out and notice to vacate procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures. Uses the Companys property systems to generate sales and leasing reports, monitor unit availability data, log and monitor maintenance requests and record incidents and accidents, ensuring records and documents are accurate and up to date. Actively seeks interaction with residents to proactively seek to improve service delivery. Promotes resident satisfaction and retention by ensuring a timely response to questions, requests and complaints and taking appropriate action to resolve and address service issues. Oversees on-site enquiries, ensuring an appropriate inventory of ready apartments, recommending rent pricing and concessions, and monitoring the day-to-day sales and leasing activities. Ensures advertising and promotional activities are effectively implemented. Develops and maintains local knowledge and information resources relevant to resident needs i.e. travel, entertainment and amenities. Stays informed about current market and competitor conditions that may impact the communitys occupancy and results. Co-ordinates the tenancy management process by making periodic apartment inspections, evicting residents, and imposing and collecting late fees and other charges within the terms of the agreement. Monitors payments and chases outstanding rent arrears following rent collection processes to meet business goals whilst promoting tenancy extensions and other revenue streams. Works with the maintenance team to ensure the physical aspects of the community meet the Companys standards for overall appearance and co-ordinates and inspects show flats for market alignment and touring prospective residents. Works with the Community Manager to engage and motivate the team to achieve leasing and occupancy targets. Assists the Community Manager in developing the capability of Team Members in order to meet key performance goals and future succession requirements, coordinating with Learning & Development to ensure training is provided and addresses performance if required. Assists the Community Manager with ensuring on-site teams understanding of applicable statutory UK tenancy legislation, Health and Safety compliance and Companys policies and procedures. Promotes investor satisfaction and retention through timely reporting about the performance of the properties, and responds quickly and with urgency to client/owner concerns, questions, issues, and requests. Reviews and analyses financial and other operational reports to identify and resolve issues impacting leasing performance, and accesses the Companys internal resources as needed to support solutions. Identify and implement opportunities for generating revenue streams and maximise efficiency of utilities. About You Good level of general education. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook. Proficiency in using property operations software. Training will however, be provided. Experience of successfully driving leasing/sales performance and managing operations including P&L responsibility and budget monitoring within the property sector or similar environment. Detailed knowledge of Landlord/Tenant Legislation A strong team player but capable of working autonomously and taking ownership. Flexible approach to working in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to thriving in a changing environment. Self and culturally aware and able to adapt relationship building, communications and negotiation skills to suit audience. Fluent English verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organisation skills with the ability to multi task and prioritise. Numerical skills necessary to complete the above activities.
